Intimate Brides -- What was your schedule like for the wedding day?

I know I'm getting a little specific, but I'm concerned about my time tables for the wedding.

We are going to see each other before the wedding, so there is no need to take a seperate limo ride. I was wondering what time you met your photographer (we've booked Randy Chapman), what time the limo picked you up, how long the ceremony and cake cutting reception lasted, and how long your pictures took after the ceremony.

We are having a 2:30 ceremony at the Yacht Club, so I'm thinking we meet Randy at Port Orleans Riverside at 1:00, take pictures till 1:30, take the limo at 1:45 and be at the ceremony site by 2:00pm. Does this seem plausible?

I feel like I'm overanalyzing the day, but I want to make sure that everything goes smoothly!! Anyone want to share their itinerary for the day?

Thanks!!!!

Hi,

What I was surprised to find out is that regardless of what you ask for for your limo pick-up times the Wc will have a default time that they will input. I didn't find this out until a couple weeks before, so you may want to talk to your WC about it.

The limo came to POFQ to bring DH to the WP at 1:45
The limo returned to the POFQ to bring me to the WP for 2:00
We had a 2:00 ceremony.

I had asked Randy to start at 1:30 at the WP to catch DH's arrival, but he came early (to my parent's room at the POFQ) because he was done early.

Unfortunately I didn't have a watch on so I can't tell you for sure how long everything was.

I would guess that our ceremony lasted from 2:30 - 2:50 (it was short, no unity candle etc)

We had a staged recessional and "kiss and hug" time for about 10 mins after that. There was at least 10 minutes of photos inside the WP after

The guests were ushered off to the Commander's Terrace while DH and I had about 10-15 mins of photos outside the WP and the beach.

It too about 10 minutes to get to out cake cutting.

The cake cutting couldn't have been more than 1/2 an hour.

I hope this helps...I think your schedule will work fine -- if anything it will be easier because you're seeing each other before hand

Thanks for the reply! I know that I'm going to be at the mercy of the limo driver and the WC, and that I am probably going to either be rushing or waiting at some point of the morning, but I'd just like have an idea in my head. I know that Randy will sometimes show up early for a shoot, and I'm planning to be ready by 11:30 or so anyway...I know there are many spots at POR that I'm looking forward to having pics...and it will be a lot easier because we are planning to get ready together and see each other before the wedding...

Really, I'm just exploding with excitement and can't stop thinking about it!!!

Our day started off with breakfast in the concierge lounge at the BW.

Rick then left to hook up with the guys for fun. I took a nice walk around the lake and then relaxed by the quiet pool while the room was being cleaned. Mom and MOH showed up around 11:00 am. Carolyn Allen and Disney Cosmo showed up then too.

Randy showed up around 1:30 or so and took some pictures of us.

We headed down to the lobby of the BW to meet Rev. Jack and our EM. After 3:00 pm we were walking down the Boardwalk to SBP for our ceremony.

Dinner was at 5:30 pm at the YSH, we got there about 5:00 pm so we went into the Crew's Cup for a cocktail before dinner.

It was a great day and Rick and I were finally alone by about 9:00 pm. Had to get some sleep before our MK shoot the next morning.
