My favourite colour to wear is red but my favourite colour is purple

Do you give to charity? If so, which one/ones? We always give to Children in Need once a year as well as regular donations to NSPCC and RSPCA.

We have sponsored 2 children at a time in Africa for the past 26 years - ever since DD1 was born. We also give to loads of charities on an ad hoc basis.


Do you like to lie-in given the chance? I NEVER stay in bed after 8am - I HAVE to get up.

Do you buy souvenier photos? I almost always do, it;s a good way of getting the 2 of us together

We do. We bought three from our trip to the Bahamas. Like you said it is generally the only time the two of us are together in a picture.

Which Disney film always makes you cry?

I would have to say The Lion King, Bambi and Dumbo

Bambi and The Fox and the Hound make me cry. I remember getting the book of F&TH for my 8th birthday and reading it all in one day and crying so hard. Seems funny now

Do you have a teddy bear? I have loads of soft toys, although they mostly 'live' in DS' room nowadays. But my favourite is a big yellow teddy I've had since I was born

On my bed I have a Jedi Mickey Mouse and a Sailor Goofy toy

On a scale of 1 to 10, how excited about Christmas are you ? I'm about 12 - woohoo !!!

At the moment... 5. I have other things to be excited about, such as Harry Potter tomorrow! Ask me again in December and I will say 15.

Do you have a "special" mug to drink your tea and coffee out of? I don't at the moment but my mum and dad have promised to get me one for Christmas, hee!

I have 2 mugs at work that I always use, a Winnie the Pooh mug for tea and one about my star sign for water. I bought my fiance a star sign mug at the same time and he uses his at work too. I'm a Taurean and he is a Scorpio

Will you be putting lights outside your house for Christmas?

Unfortunately we wont be as we don't have an outside power supply.

We have some twinkling lights for outside, but they're nothing special

Do you put chocolate decorations on your Christmas tree ? We do, but they don't last long

I used to but don't bother anymore. Like you said, nobody can wait for Xmas and they get eaten. i remember it was a great game when I was little though to try and steal a choccie and then redo the paper and put it back on the tree empty before my mum realised She must have known really.

Are you a christmas lunch or christmas dinner person (meaning what sort of time do you eat your Xmas day meal) and why?

I always think its nice to hear other people's Xmas traditions.

We usually have Christmas dinner around 3pm after a morning of eating chocolate

Do you have a real or fake Christmas Tree ? It's a fake one for me

Both usually one in sitting room, one in conservatory. And a real one growing on the front lawn that we put lights on - a girl after your own heart I think!!!

Following on, when do you open your presents? We open ours when we've cleared away lunch - so about 3pm.

Depends where we are spending Xmas.
This year we are starting the day off at my brothers, so pressies there in the morning, popping into DH's family so more pressies there, and ending the day at my parents so more pressies there!! Whoopie.

Do you have little extra pressies during Xmas dinner?
We normally spend £5 on each other extra and give out mini pressies before pudding.

No we don't but we will be having a stocking this year with little fun presents in them.

I asked my Mum-in-Law and she said Jane Austin, Hitler, Marilyn Monroe, Winston Churchill and someone else

What are you doing today? I'm off to Teso shortly followed by clearing up after the workmen who are re-doing our en suite!

That would be a toss up between Mickey Mouse so I could act without speaking and Cinderella as I'd LOVE to be a Princess!
