yes we did that the last trip. my son had a terrible asthma attack the night before and we ended up in the hospital. so the next day we were very low key. so we went and checked out a bunch of resorts. it was a fun day!
which do you enjoy better- the world showcase or future world?
My first choice would be The Beach Club because we love it there. Plus we are DVC members and it's our home resort. Oh, 3 more reasons, location, location, location
Where do you go for your favorite table service meal and why?
Absolutely, every time we visit Disney, the biggest highlight of my trip is patiently waiting in line to met Mickey and get his autograph! My kids think its funny that Mommy waits in line for an autograph with them I told them I may be 36 years old and a mom but I still love meeting Mickey and giving him a big hug!
Next, have you ever experienced a cast member who was not very disney-like and what was the circumstance?
Yes, multiple times in multiple parks, on both coasts - try as hard as they may to indoctrinate CM's through training in "the Disney Way" (I know, because I was one) - there are still many that get through the cracks and let their real world personality show through. I can't recall specific experiences, but it has definitely happened at both WDW and DLR.
Will you be going to one of the hard ticket holiday events this year (Christmas or Halloween?)
Unfortunately we will not be at either one of those this year. We love going to both of those, but we will not be there till January. We will be at MVMCP in 2009.
Have you eaten at Victoria and Albert's and if you haven't, are you planning on going?
I have never eaten at Victoria and Alberts and don't plan to (too fancy for us) but I hear all the waiters and waitresses are named Victoria and Albert.
What is your favorite thing to do when you arrive at WDW?
My favorite show by far is Fantasmic... I think it's phenomenal... not quite sure if it's considered a fireworks show though, but I have seen it over 20 times and never tire of it... I just think it brings out the kid and everyone and you can't not smile at the end... Illuminations which I found awesome and moving the first time I saw it really doesn't hold up as well after repeat viewings for me. Wishes is great too, but I usually use this time for low line riding... I am from Pittsburgh the land of fireworks... so all though I enjoy them... I get to see great fireworks shows all summer. Sometimes I think the ones here are even better than those at WDW (don't tell anyone) so when at Disney I want to get as much riding in as possible! On a side-note they are having a huge fireworks show in Pittsburgh for their 250th birthday and are shooting the fireworks from 14 different locals .. and it's going to the biggest one the city has ever seen... I'm kinda excited.
Lol boy am I gabby.
Ok what is your favorite and least favorite 3D show and why?
My favorite 3D show is Mickey's Philharmagic because I think it's the cutest and the funniest. My least favorite is Honey I Shrunk The Audience because I've seen it just about every time I've been there and I think it's time to change it.
