My first trip to WDW was when I was 13. I remember they were having an election for mayor and it was between Captain Hook and Winne the Pooh.. my family was torn.. I was on Captains side.:rotfl2:.. It was such a great trip.. I remember my mom sitting with my brother on a bench crying that she had to leave.. even on the plane she cried.. Now to think of it she cried all the way home. lol.... who doesnt?

The next friend: tell me your best kept traveling or WDW secret? ( I wont tell...:rotfl:)

Before a day at DHS I was able to talk my DS into wearing his bathing suit without underwear. Long story. After getting off the bus he was complaining a lot about how it felt. Both of us slipped into the nearest bathroom and I gave him mine. So that was my first time doing a park TRUE-COMMANDO style!!!

Next friend - what is your most guiltiest pleasure while at the most magical place on Earth?

Eating, we plan our meals first, allowing time to enjoy each counter service and table service meal. Our meals will dictate where we will be going that day, while leaving time to snack in the evening.

Interview: what is your favorite time of year to visit WDW and why?

well winter is usually nice because sometimes it's not as crowded but i have always wanted to go for Christmas.

Do you always buy a little gift when you go to WDW?

A Gift !!!!! we need to purchase a crate to have our gifts shipped home. I told the DW it would be cheaper to stay home and shop on line with Disney.

Interview: do you plan one park a day or do you visit several parks a day?

Somedays we will stay at 1 park, and then some days we will hop around. We try to start as early as we can and stay out as late as we can.

What is your favorite thing to do when you first walk into Magic Kingdom?

Walking down main street, just trying to take it all in...taking some pics of the castle. Then we hot foot it over to Space Mountain :thumbsup2

Interview question: Narcoosee's or California Grill?

Narcoossees

What is your earliest Disney memory?

I was about 2 & my mom & her best friend took me to Disney for my first time. (I don't remember why Daddy wasn't there, but he probably had to work.) We drove by car & I don't remember Disney that much, but I have faint memories of the trip. I do remember my mom's BFF said, "Why is your mom taking all of that cr@p?" as my mom was walking to the car with an armload of stuff. Thinking her comment was funny (and being a typical 2 year old), when DMom got into the car I repeated her comment and said, "Mom, why are you taking all of that cr@p?" Mom didn't think it was very funny!

Which do you prefer: The old Pirates of the Caribbean ride or new Pirates of the Caribbean ride? Why?

I love them both! But - I think I like the new Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I think the updates with Johnny Depp, I mean, Captain Jack Sparrow, are really well done! It amazes me everytime I go on that ride how amazing of a job they did on him!!

Which parade and fireworks show is your favorite and why?

Which parade and fireworks show is your favorite and why?
A: Fireworks is easy. It's Illuminations, hands down. The first time I saw it, I was so overwhelmed with emotions that it brought me to tears. Now I insist on seeing it on the final night of any trip.

Parade is more difficult. I used to be a huge fan of the Tapestry of Nations parade at Epcot (can you tell I'm an Epcot fan?), but with it being gone for years now... I'd have to say SpectroMagic. The night time parades are the only ones I have any real interest in... I'm usually taking advantage of the shortened ride lines during daytime parades. :thumbsup2

Q: If you could stay at any resort at WDW, for any length of time in any room type, sky's the limit with money no object... Where would you be?

I would book a Treehouse Villa for two weeks, to share with family and friends.

Do you have a restaurant that you eat at for every trip to WDW?

Yes, it used to be Alfredo's. Now it is Yachtsman's Steakhouse. What is your favorite park and why?

My favorite park is MK because when I was on the College Program I was a cast member at Splash Mountain. After working several months in the Magic Kingdom, it was even more magical then when I started. Learning the "secrets" made it even better because you appreciate how every detail is thought-out and just how much work goes into the things most guests never notice. Nearly every day I would meet a family who had saved for years for their trip and was truly making memories - who wouldn't love to be a part of that?

What is your favorite free souvenir (not merchandise from a gift shop) of a Disney Park?

The maps! I have a picture of my then 4 year old holding an open map in each park. You can just see the top of his head and his shoes:) He was obsessed with those things. He'd walk around all day looking at his map- it was adorable.

Next friend: If you could spend a day at MK with one person that was not a family member who would it be and why?

I would spend it with my best friends 4 yr old princess, Maddie. She's been known to go up to complete strangers and tell them she's a princess. One lady bent down, looked her straight in the eye and said "And don't you forget it!"
I sent the girls Princess postcards in September when I was down there and she wasn't shocked at all the Princess Ariel sent her a letter. Why would she be? She's a princess! I really want to be there when she and her big sister get to see Magic Kingdom for the first time! :goodvibes

Next: Why is WDW so special to you?

It's just so amazing. It brings out the kid in everyone and everyone should be happy while they're there. Everything is just magical and you can forget about real life for a while.

If you could change one thing about WDW, what would it be?

What a great question!

I love them all for different reasons. But I think I'll go with the orange grove one because it's my favorite smell of the ride.

If you were in charge of adding another country to the WS at Epcot, which would you pick and why?
