Interview the person below you (Part II)

We do a mix of the two. We rarely stop for parades unless we get caught on the wrong side of one! Then we plan ahead for one night of Wishes, one night of F! and one night of Illuminations. The remaining nights, we hit the shorter lines or head back to the room early (we're religious RDers!).

What about you.... parades and fireworks or shorter lines?

Parades and Fireworks :) However we don't line up for a long time before so we often ride up to 10 minutes before they start and they just grab a spot where we can. We enjoy watching them but not enough to waste 30 minutes + waiting for them :)

If you could create the 2014 year theme, what would it be?

Wow! That's a toughie! I've been thinking about it since I saw your question yesterday.....hoping someone else would come up with a good idea! One thing I'd like to see is something about random acts of kindness, though I have no idea how to implement it. Having CMs and guests doing nice things for each other would be great.....though I'm sure it would not draw in crowds and increase revenue so not such a great idea. (but then neither is Limited TIme Magic!)

You have a $6,000 WDW vacation budget....how do you spend it?

Stay at a value resort so we could spend the rest on AP's, ADR's and some tours. We don't spend that much time in the room anyway.

Do you have a "dream" Limited Time Magic event?

The Villains day is pretty much my dream. I so wish I could go! Aside from that, I'd love to see a Wall-E meet and greet day.

What's your favorite tip to give first timers?

Go at your own pace. If you want to sleep in, sleep in. If you want to take a break, take a break :) Commando touring style doesn't work for everyone. Also, do some research, even if you don't want a full day by day schedule. A bit of knowledge about the parks is helpful. Someone we know recently didn't even realise there were 4 parks and they had already booked their resort! Lucky, they could change things after thinking 3 days would be enough.

Same Q

Take me with you! No, I tell them to check out online planning sites for tips. I also will tell them they can ask me any and all questions that they can possibly think of.

When driving to Disney (over 15 hours), how do you pass the time?

We don't drive, we fly :) It's a 23 hour flight and a 3 hour layover in LA. We watch movies and sleep.

If you could meet any character from Disney movies, who would you meet?

Captain Jack Sparrow! DUH! :thumbsup2 Or John Biebe from Mystery Alaska (which was quietly a Disney movie....and one of my all-time favorite flicks!). Biebe was just my kind of guy.....tough, strong, and really romantic :lovestruc

If you could be at WDW right this second, where would you want to be and why?

I'd want to be relaxing at the Poly pool, enjoying a dole whip, since its a gorgeous yet warm day here in FL :)

If you had to bring one extinct attraction back, what would it be and why?

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. I have such fond memories of that attraction when I rode it in 1973! It was more than 20 years before I returned (a travesty, I know) and it was sadly gone. I'd love to see it return, with current technology of course! Actually, I'd love to ride it again in its original form and see how my memories as a 3 year old compare! My guess is it might be a smidge different than the awesome experience I remember!

Who would be your dream Candlelight Processional narrator? Maybe someone who doesn't currently or hasn't done it previously?

Hmmmm, that is a really good question! I think it would be cool to see Neil Gaimen. I've heard him read from his books before and he has a great narrative voice. :goodvibes

What is your favorite restaurant on property and why?? Which is you least favorite?

Favourite is really hard to choose! Tusker House for character breakfast and Narcoossee's for a meal. Least Favourite is 50's because of bad service and the food we had was terrible!

Same Q

Most Favorite: Narcoossee's. Awesome food, awesome service, great location.
Least Favorite: Coral Reef. We have tried it a few times and the service is always horrible. Also, we had hair in our food on our last visit and the waiter took the food and didn't offer to replace it and we were still charged for it. The food there is less than mediocre.

Question: What is your favorite thing to do in Downtown Disney?

We love to visit the Pin Store and World of Disney. Sometimes we just go for a walk through DTD to enjoy the atmosphere. It's such a different feel at night. We often go there to eat if all the parks have closed early (any parks that close at 9pm or early, is "early" for us)

Same Q

I like to go to the Christmas Store to buy our vacation Christmas Tree ornament.

TNP: Which DTD restaurant is your favorite and why??

Earl of Sandwich is a great place to get a good quick meal in DTD.

What's one thing that people may forget to pack that is an absolute must in Disney?

I've been known to forget to pack my sunscreen....not that I didn't buy any before we left, I just forgot to pack it in my suitcase.

If you could change one restaurant (whether it be theme, food, atmosphere, etc...) which one would it be and how would you change it?

Coral Reef. I would change the entire menu and the service. That place could be great, but it isnt. :(
