Internet in villas?

We are staying at the Boardwalk in Oct. Yay! I want to take my laptop and blog, but this machine is equipped for ethernet not dial up internet. Could you please tell me what is available, and if there is a charge for the use of internet/ethernet for DVC members? Thank you.

Members staying on reservations made through Member Services receive free internet. It is an ethernet connection. There should be an ethenet cable hanging in one of the closets. The billing system seems flaky, though. If it does show up on your room charges, go to the front desk to have it reversed.

If you are staying on cash through a regular Disney reservation, I think you need to pay for the internet service, even if you are a DVC Member.

It was something our parents used to use when the were walking naked and barefoot through the snow and shards of broken glass on the way to school.

Mine didn't show up on the bill but they did suggest it might. It's sort of a crap shoot I guess, but it worked well in July.

Great Service! Free to DVC Members. DH also brings a router so he and I can both bring our laptops. Certainly not a necessity but it works for us. The 2 bedrooms have 2 connections, great for the kids and us.
