internet in the WL

Hi! We are leaving tuesday for a week at the WL!! (our first stay at the lodge, I can't wait!!)

I am not sure whether to take my laptop or not. If I recall from our last visit, 2 years ago at POFQ, there was a $9.95 charge per day, I also remember never having time to use my laptop, plus it was a pain at the airports to go through security with it, it doens't fit very well into my bag I have for it, so it gets jammed in the bag and it's tough to get out...

anyways, is there anywhere to get wi-fi that you don't have to pay for? I'm thinking my husband would like the computer to check how things are at work, and I would like to check in on the DIS, but not if we have to pay, kwim?

That is only available to the guests staying there, because the computers are in the rooms.

I forgot to mention back in August 2006 a Cast Member told me the Internet in the rooms at the Contemporary would not be free forever. However since I was told that info a while ago, who knows if it's true or not. I am only mentioning it because that could happen and sorry for hijacking this thread.
