Internet at Saratoga Springs Resort

Has anyone used internet at SS? Is it free for DVC members? I thought I read somewhere that it was. If not, what is the cost? I'm bringing my gamer son and he will be on it all week! Also, we have wireless internet, but the access is a cable in the closet (I've read), any details you can give me on this topic would be appreciated!

Easy,, Yes DVC members are free ,the fee is 9.95 a day for non members.There should be an ethernet cable hanging in the closet in a burlap bag, if not just call the front desk and they'll have one delivered. You can just plug into the internet that way.ENJOY

Internet access is free to members staying on points.

It is NOT wireless. Not all jacks in the units work i.e. when stying in a 2br we've had units where we could only work in the LR or the 2nd br.

We are thinking of purchasing an inexpensive wireless router to keep in our Owners Locker so more than one of us can be on line at a time & we are not restricted to location.

When we were there last year the internet connection was free. As others have mentioned the ethernet cable is in a bag hanging in the closet. I think they may have still been wiring the resort last summer, as when we were there the ethernet cable only worked in the Master Bedroom. We were in a two bedroom. We were travelling with my another couple and (being nice) gave them the master bedroom. So.. it was really inconvenient having to ask them to use the desk in their room when we needed to connect to the net. Hopefully they have it worked out now so you can access the internet in both bedrooms.

We stayed in a one bedroom last month and the connection was in the master bedroom. We too will bring an inexpensive wireless router next time since we fought over the connection with my 2 teens.
