Internet at Boardwalk

I will be at Baoarwalk next week and I need to get onto the internet for some work on 1/29. Is there some type of computer station at the Boardwalk that I can use ??

When we were at the Boardwalk in November, they were in the process of putting internet access in all the rooms. They were going to install it into our room right after we checked out so we didn't get to use it. I asked the CM at the check-in counter about it and she said that they had so many business convention people needing to use the internet, that they had decided to put it in all the rooms. I asked what the charge would be and she told me it would be free to members. You would need to bring your own laptop, of course.
I was surprised that no one who stayed at the Boardwalk after us has talked about this. So, I am hoping someone can confirm what I was told. Anyone know for sure about this?

If you have a laptop you can either dial in or use the high speed access in your room. Dial in is either free or not, depending on how you access your provider.

High speed if it's in the BW, it is in the BCV) is NOT free to members. We just used it last week in the BCV, $10 per 24 hour period to everyone, no member discount

The nice thing is that DH and I were both able to use the service at the same time, saving time.

If you don't have a laptop, the business center has computers you can use , $40 per hour.

If you don't have anything with you, you can go to the Convention Center (I think that's what it's called). Right across the hall is a little office with a computer. It's $10 for 15 minutes. not exactly cheap, but sometimes you have to do it.

Just returned on Tuesday from 5 days at Boardwalk. The high speed internet is "NOT" available in the rooms at this time. The wireless is only available in the lobby of Boardwalk. The cast members at the front desk know little, if anything about it. They deferred to other cast members working in the Conference Center for information.

I tried to plug into the two ethernet jacks in our room, neither one worked. Was told that they are having problems with the system, and so rather than have some rooms working and others not, they have turned off all access in the villas until they have fixed the problems. Wireless is available in the lobby, they say to stay on the rugs to get the best reception. After talking to 6 different cast members, we finally came to consensus that the cost is $9.95 per 24 hours for wireless access.
