Do you have to have your own laptop or are there computers there to be used? If there are computers, are they set up with MSN messenger or is it just to check e-mail and surf the web? Is there another option other than the unlimited plan? With two teens who may want to keep in touch with friends back home, the unlimited plan would probably be best anyway.

hi
there is an internet cafe on board the ship ......
I'm not sure how much it is but I was on the July 1 wonder a 3 day cruise and I belive it was $39.99 unlimited acess.....

We brought our laptop onboard and was able to use wireless services in the public areas. When you get on the ship you can go to Guest Services to get a list of areas you can access the Internet as well as laptop configuration instructions.

Internet service for both laptops and workstations was out during our day at sea, BTW.

Thanks for the info!

Kat3668, I love your picture! We have a kitty named Molly also. Our girl is all gray.

Oh my heavens! I just looked at the link Kat provided and see if you get the unlimited plan that's PER PERSON and it cannot be shared!!! Shoot, I was thinking it wouldn't be too bad if it was $89 unlimited for the whole family. Dang!

both kids and I are internet nuts. We were so busy on the Magic we never even had time to think about getting on the net.

As long as they are not on at the same time you usually can share it and not get caught.

The rate is actually a pretty good deal.

We just took a Celebrity cruise to Alaska and we paid $70 for 100 minutes of internet access. Thats not even 2 hrs!

When you have a 17 yr old DD who is separated from her first boyfriend for the First time, that's no time at all!

I too was worried as i am an internet junkie when i went on my first cruise i looked at the price per minute and the unlimited and said im on vacation im not getting on and i didnt of course it took two weeks to get my email under control... Plus if i bought the unlimited plan it would have used all my spending money and i thought now what memories of my cruise would that be. no souveners
so I say once you get on board dont get on enjoy the ship and all theri is to do really I didnt see when i would get on. when i got back i just spent a lot of time lol catching up on things i missed on here and other things i read. Just tell your children that this is vacation a time for fun not the same old same old they do everyday.
