We have stayed there three times and the first two times we absolutely loved it. The most recent stay was in November and that was OK, but with some attached warnings.
Pros:
Is slightly off the beaten track and therefore feels less frantic than a lot of the other hotels that we stayed at on International Drive.
Within walking distance of Seaworld
Aquatica is right across the road
Grounds are beautiful with some great pools
Has stop for Link 50 Bus (to Downtown Disney and Transportation and Ticket Centre) in front of the hotel and the bus only fills up at Seaworld so your virtually guaranteed a seat.
Two great restaurants (Steak and Ale and Bennigans) just across the road and an IHOP a short walk away.
Fantastic breakfast at the Blue Marlin Grille
Staff (reception, housekeeping and restaurants) are going out of their way to help
Rooms are a nice size
Cons:
The hotel is currently converted into Condo Hotel and there is loads of building work going on (not a noise issue, but access to certain public areas can be difficult as access routes are blocked off).
The existing rooms are starting to look quite run down as nothing gets maintained at the moment (what's the point if they are ripping the rooms apart anyway).
We had the hard sell from their sales people every day. They intercepted us going in and out of the hotel, rang us, left voice mail messages, etc. They are just so desperate to sell their condo units. We got so fed up with this that we headed over to the Disney Vacation Club and became members as I do have no wish to be haunted like this by sales staff ever again.
