anyone else applied for this? particularly anyone in the uk?

i got an email from "yummy jobs" this morning inviting me to an interview in london on june 10th, words cannot describe my excitement! will anyone else from the DIS be there?

congratulations! i don't know anyone going on that day, but on another forum just for international cm's, i've noticed some people have interviews in London on June 11th.

which forum's that? it would be cool to speak to people in the same position, because i'm pretty nervous and have no idea what to expect!

I'm not an International CP, but I bet the forum she's talking about is: http://www.wdwip.com . There are TONS of international CMs on there and lots of great information. You should check it out. :)

If you don't mind my asking how do you get to become an International graduate.. what are the criteria etc. I'm really interested in doing it at some point!!

Oh wow! I'm doing the College Program this summer but I'd love to do this when I graduate... in 3 years :( Let us know how you get on with the interview :)

disneyhockeymad - here's some of the information 'yummy jobs' sent me...

"The Program is designed for:
- students who are in their last year of study in an undergraduate hospitality
degree program
- students that have already earned a Bachelor’s degree (in any field) and
would like focused academic training related to theme park, resort, restaurant
and hotel management"

it's a 6 month program, so i think this may be longer than the usual ICP that some students do over the summer? you spend 5 days a week working at Disney, and 1 day a week at the University of Central Florida studying for a certificate in hospoitality management.

PrincessSarah19 - i'll make sure i let you all know how it goes! chances are, if i get through, you won't be able to shut me up, haha.

I've got F2F interview for the CRP on the 11th. Sent my CV in on Wednesday, phone interview on Thursday and confirmation of F2F on the Friday. They sure do move quick at Disney (Yummyjobs!) :D

i sent my CV a couple of months ago, and they told me there would be interviews in june and they'd contact me with details in may, so i guess it might just be a coincidence that you happened to send you CV just as they were organising the interviews hehe. i've not had a phone interview, i'm not sure if this is a good sign or not? maybe they were just very impressed with my CV? and skipped a step? let's hope so! haha.

hey princess laura, i am going on this program but from july - january. might see you out there ;D

Hey Princess Laura,

I've got an interview down in London, but its on the Monday June 9th - which is strange as everywhere I've read they all seem to have interviews on the 10th or 11th.

I'm so nervous about the interview, I just don't know what to say and how to properly articulate how much I would love to work for Disney.

Been searching the net for blogs/forums for people who have done the graduate program but there doesn't seem to be a lot. - from what I've been reading its constantly developing and changing - now some courses have exams.

I'm sure we'll find out more information come the presentation/interview.

hey stal, only a couple of months for you to wait then, bet you're excited!

helix - i'm nervous too, i'm not sure how to explain how much working at WDW would mean to me without sounding like a weird obsessed Disney fan, i'm sure we'll both do fine though.
