Where is and what is the international gateway at Epcot? Is this what I would take to get to Spoodle's at Boardwalk?

Been to Epcot:blush: looked at the map but just can't "see the picture."

It's between UK and France. And yes that is how you can get to Spoodle's from Epcot. You can either walk (it's not that far) or take a boat.

So when I take the bus to Epcot, I should head in, walk between UK and France and head on over?

Now, hold on a second...

Where are you coming from?

A better route to Spoodles from most WDW resorts would be to bus to DHStudios and take the boat to Boardwalk.

Let me show you the distance you'll walk from the front gates at Epcot back to the International Gateway-

That green line actually leads from the Epcot monorail station (near front gates) back to the International Gateway and on to the Beach Club.
But Spoodles is actually a bit farther away, directly across the lake from the Beach Club.
(You would simply follow to the LEFT instead of right, after you passed thru the Int'l. Gateway.)

If you are headed to Spoodles from most WDW resorts, Epcot's front gate is not exactly the most direct route.

When you look at it like that, it does look like a long walk. Is there anyway you could take a bus to DTD and then take a bus to the Boardwalk? Like others mentioned, when you pass through the UK you come to a fork in the road. If you head left over the bridge, you are in France. If you head right down the hill, you are at the International Gateway (exit).

If you are coming from a Resort, your best route is to the Studios, then take the boat to Boardwalk.

You could even exit the boat at its first stop, Swan, and walk to Boardwalk/Spoodles from there.

But yes, you could bus to DTD/Pleasure Island and then ride another bus back to Boardwalk (the Boardwalk bus may likely also first stop at Swan/Dolphin and Yacht/Beach Club.)

The buses to and from DTD don't seem to run as regularly as the ones to the theme parks, so I wouldn't go to DTD and transfer to the Boardwalk.

Are you going to Spoodles for breakfast or dinner? While it IS a hike to walk through Epcot to go out the International Gateway, it can be done in about 15 minutes, plus the extra 5 minute walk to Spoodles. I would take whatever bus comes first - either Epcot's or the Hollywood Studios bus. If you take the bus to the Studios - take the boat to the Boardwalk as Robo suggested.

I'll keep that in mind if we every have to do it. We ate at Spoodles during our last WDW trip. Yum! Yum! :thumbsup2

We're coming from SSR. And no, I won't transfer from DTD. It is horrible catching a bus there to another resort.

So it looks like my best bet is to go to DHStudios and then to Boardwalk via boat!
Thanks for the photo, Robo. It REALLY helped!!:)
