The 65,000 H-1B visas allowed amount to 45/10,000 of total U.S. employment.
65k per fiscal year, but again this really isn't the point. I can tolerate the H1-B program when used as designed.
Worrying about those legal workers while completely ignoring the 18,000,000 illegals is truly noticing the speck in your eye while ignoring the log in your own.
Not the same of course. I will not be drawn off-subject into a sacred cow political debate.
The jobs were not offshored, they were outsourced.
You say this as if it matters. First, you tell me I should be mad at Congress, not Disney. Now you tell me the firing of people while forcing them to train their replacements I should applaud because at least the jobs weren't off-shored? I seem to have misplaced my enthusiasm.
Should you boycott Disneyland because Alweg (Sweden) built the Monorail and Von Roll (Switzerland) built Skyway?
I must have missed the part where all the American workers on the Monorail were fired only after they were forced to transfer their years of paid-for education and hard-earned experience to the inexperienced and undereducated Alweg.
