By the same token, there are studies that are accurate. I'm not saying either of these are, at least not as presented, but science is truth. It is only when human beings try to present something to others as truth that things can go off the rails due to deliberate or inadvertent distortion.
I don't think it is quite accurate to say that "Science = Truth", science is what is perceived to be truth. Otherwise, Semmelweis wouldn't have had a break-down when trying to convince doctors to wash their hands in the 1800s. His hypothesis that proper sanitation would save women's lives was true, but the medical establishment didn't agree. So, at that time, accepted "science" was actually untrue.
