Interesting FastPass Experience

DW, DD15 and DD18 and myself just returned for the world on Monday night. We were at Magic Kingdom New Years Day. When I used the second Fast Pass Machine from the right at Space Mountain with my AP it spit out 6 fast passes. One indicated when I could receive a new fastpass on another attraction and the other five were as if the Cast Member had used the secret button to dispense fastpasses.

Anyone know if this has happened before or is this another one of those special hidden treasures that happens to every so many fastpass requests?

Just curious.
