Interesting Disneyland Paris Facts Needed

My DD (whose 8) has to give a class presentation and she has chosen Disneyland Paris. She has been quite a few times and we have lots of pictures but we are looking for some facts/funny things that would be interesting to 8 year olds.

She has had a look online but most of the information just tells you how many visitors they get, how many bricks were used etc. I was hoping to get something a little more interesting than that and thought that you guys on here are bound to know, after all you are the font of all Disneyland Paris knowledge

Does she know Duffy's story? Thats quite cute, and is fairly easy to research (and he's kind of Disney's version of build-a-bear).

the wikipedia page on Phantom Manor at DLP is also good, it has the story of the ride etc -

She could talk about the Cinemagique experience, with the sword coming out of the film, the gunshots, getting rained on etc etc.

Art of Animation? Learning to draw a Disney cartoon character etc.

The Duffy story is a great idea I took photos of it on our last trip and you're welcome to use them if that helps? You can find them within here

I think talking about the general themeing is a good idea too. That you can be a cowboy/girl in Frontierland, a princess/prince in Fantasayland, a pirate in Adventureland and a space ranger in Discoveryland...maybe do a presentaion on each land, and then talk about Main St, and the story behind how hotels were often built beside a train station and then the town would form around it.
