..........Well, the fact is that it won't be much longer before owners at OKW and SSR combined will outnumber the owners of BWV, BCV and VWL. Clearly there IS demand for resorts in the vein of OKW and SSR.
Or, to use your own words, "Different things appeal to different people and different people want or desire different things."
Never said there was not a demand for OKW or SSR or resorts in the vein of. What I said was: to say that OKW was a HUGE advantage to BWV in their abilty to sell out quickly, is not accurate or anywhere near true for many people.
As I also said before, the only way OKW bolstered sales at BWV, for many people, is that BWV was NOT OKW (the only other existing WDW
DVC resort at the time) in almost every aspect, other than it is part of DVC. Many people did not want the OKW location and the whole OKW aspect, just like many people do not want the BWV, BCV, etc. aspect. Which is fine. What I do not understand, is why it is ok to say the hotel/close to parks type DVC resorts are not to your liking, don't do a thing for you, etc; but yet other people can not feel the opposite way.
I still do not see the point in whether the combined numbers of DVC members at OKW and SSR is greater than the others. So what? They are bigger resorts with more pts to sell so consequently they have more members. Obviously there is also a great demand for resorts in the vein of BWV, BCV, VWL, etc., or the thousands of members that own there today, would not exist!!!
Again different people want different things, value things differently etc. What is the problem? Some place a great deal of value on the sq floor footage of their vacation accommondations; to others this is not a major factor. Everyone has their opinions, their own wants, desires etc.
