Thomas: I cannot say about the free dining. But, I expect to be able to say something about that tomorrow.

you: Really??? Haha! You are funny! Well...I will definitely check back tomorrow then!

Thomas: Yes, we know something but cannot talk about it with you until then.

you: I had heard it might come out today but I checked the website and saw nothing so I though I'd ask. Thanks for the hope! We are really wanting to keep our ressie at WDW but might not be able to or will have to scale back big time if we don't get the FD like we did last year. You guys are spoiling us! Strange, they don't normally put out discounts on Tuesdays. Usually Mondays, sometimes Thursdays.

Not for Free Dining. They have only had free dining in January for the last 2 years and FD offer and room only offers don't hardly every come out at the same time.

That CM sounded very encouraging about there being free dining in January. Now I just hope it extends to our planned trip in February. Or I may find myself switching to a January trip.

To tell you the truth, I would not be at all surprised if Disney offered free dining in January. We have gone there in January many, many times. The crowds are light and the weather is usually too chilly for most people. We have even hit frost. So Disney would want to try to fill that month up.

Seems like last year that the FD extension (where try extended the fall offer into Jan and on) was not offered to Visa holders first. I didn't get anything about that and I was looking for it last fall bc we did FD last January too. I may be wrong though and could've just missed that.

Someone else needs to hop on chat on the WDW site and see what that CM says. Can't hurt!

I was on there today with someone also, and all they could ever tell me was to keep checking and they didn't know when promotions get released. man i hope your right

Apparently, there's some new promotion coming out soon for the general public. I called just a few minutes ago to see if I had a pin code attached to my name. The castmember said that there was no pin code but that I could take advantage of the "new promotion". He confirmed our travel dates of May 22 to June 1, 2013 and gave me a quote. Problem is, the quote is only about $64.00 less than rack rate so I'm not sure what the "new promotion" really is. I told him that I'd think about it and what did I need to ask for when I called back....was there a three digit/number code or anything and he said just say "new promotion".
