Interesting article about Bedbug epidemic

Have you seen them in WDW?

Not personally, but there have been a few reports here and there of people who allege they have been bitten by bedbugs, including one family that Disney compensated for their trouble.

I always check the mattress first thing in any hotel, for evidence of bedbugs. They can be in any hotel, any where, at any price point.

I've only read about hem here on the DIS but I check for them everywhere I go.

I guess I'll be pulling back the covers before climbing into bed when I arrive at Pop Century tomorrow:eek:

What are the signs of bedbugs...

will I pull back my sheets and see creepy crawlers:scared1:

The only sign I know of is brown drippings along the sides of the bed.

On the MATTRESS will be signs. Look for spots. Not so much runny drippings. You will have to remove the bedding to see it. Also check behind the headboard as that is also where they hide. Bringing a small flashlight would help with that if you can not physically remove the headboard.

There is another thread that has great links to find much more detailed information along with some pretty disgusting pics to help.
