Interest Rates for DVC contract

I’m wondering what the range for current interest rates for direct DVC purchases is.
I know it’s never a good deal and they probably are really high; nevertheless I’m thinking about adding on some direct points using direct financing and paying off the loan within a year. As I’m an international guest I will have to decide while on property and therefore will not have much time to think about it then, that’s why I’m doing my research beforehand. Unfortunately DVC guides can only talk to international guests once we are in the US, which complicates my research.
Has anyone experience with DVC financing for international owners; what’s the international rate?

Monera states they start at 9.9% APR, while DVC lists 9.99% as their low.

Not sure what it would be for an international purchaser though.

We recently did a purchase and paid a little more than half in cash and financed the rest with the intent to pay it off within 12-18 months. I wasnt trying to make a decision that would “cost” us the least, as we had the cash for it, but I don’t like outlying that much cash at one time if I can avoid it. Plus, with the high interest rates it effectively cuts the interest rate in half. Plus, atleast here in the US this is a mortgage and in a lot of cases the interest paid can be deducted on your taxes.

When we did out purchase we got 8.99%, we did our purchase in November.
