Interest in Starting GKTW Event in Chicago

I am a long time podcast listener and big GKTW supporter interested in starting a DIS meet event in Chicago. I've been to the Indy meet and know many Chicagoans head down there - figured others would benefit from a more local meet-up.

I'd be happy to arrange the details - but as a first time fundraiser, would love some volunteer help and ideas from others. Please PM or post here if you are interested.
