Hi when i booked our trip we requested interconnecting rooms, i know this is subject to availability, however i was wondering if this is enough or should i contact the hotel directly to request again

Thanks

I would phone the hotel directly a few days before you go, to ask again for interconnecting rooms.

Thanks for your advice we go on the 5June so will phone next weekend thank you

Yes, same here - phone about 3 days before you're due to arrive.

We've had interconnecting a few times and they never guarantee. It was the hotel that told me that your booking doesn't go live on their system until a few days before arrival, so you should be fine. :goodvibes

Oooo Thanks for asking this. I have to do this also. Would this be the time to let them know you are celebrating a special occasion. We are going for our 25th wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday. Getting very excited!

I emailed them last year to let them know we were coming to celebrate by dd's birthday and we were very lucky to get some nice additions to the room pixiedust: dlp.guest.communication@disney.com

Thanks for the email. We will be leaving the states on Friday the 14th. We get to Disneyland on Monday the 17th. So I will need to call on the Thursday before we leave. Is that too early?

thanks DLPaft! One last thought. Is there a proper way to let them know about a special occasion in an email or do you just flat out state the reason you are visiting the park?

Hi sorry was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it makes much difference in how you contact the hotel eg by phone call or email?

I emailed requesting interconnecting rooms, rooms in a certain block and extra pillows, when we arrived had all of the above except the pillows but they were brought to our room shortly after we checked in :goodvibes

I emailed about 6 days before and got a reply the same day saying they had made a not of my requests.
