Ist off I dont even know which forum this hould really go in? I don't feel like making coffee in the room so I was thinkig of bringing some instant coffee and making it with the hot water at the food court. I am thinking a really good instatnt coffee would be tastier than the nescafe.

THoughts...am I crazy?

I wouldn't say crazy, but I wouldn't agree with you. While the Nescafe isn't as good as fresh brewed, I prefer it, by a mile, to instant. It is, by its very nature, a compromise between instant and fresh brewed, and is therefore, in terms of taste, somewhere in between.

Bring regular ground coffee with you. If you're staying in a moderate or a deluxe resort, you will have a coffee maker in your room (bring extra filters). If you're in a value resort, I recommend investing in a coffee press. An inexpensive one can be had for under $20 at Amazon.com or Bed Bath & Beyond. Use the hot water from food court to prepare your pressed coffee.

I agree that the coffee at WDW is wretched but I don't think that instant coffee is a better solution.

Another good option:

This makes excellent coffee if you can get hot-enough water.

Thanks everybody!

Bicker that looks pretty neat. I will check it out.

I've always been fine with the Nescafe but this time we are bringing a black coffee drinker.....

OK it has been years since I've had instant..think I will bring a press or that other coffee maker:goodvibes

Nescafe is the poops , imo.
But I do enjoy Taster's Choice instant (i know made my same company but it tastes way better imo) . I went to the States and got some of those packets of it, like Crystal Lite comes in.. I will be bringing them with me.

You could also do the bring your own grinds method as someone suggested and bring your own filters. The only reason I am going instant is because I am fine with Taster's Choice.

I have been to Disney World in September for the last five years and I have found that a twenty dollar coffee maker from Wal Mart and a dozen or so packs of Tim Hortons coffee are the best investment that can be make for the trip. I have the deluxe dining again this year and I will get more free cups but to be able to start the day with a really good cup of coffee you need to bring yout own unless you are willing to go to the Kona cafe every morning.

Use a coffee maker in your room to make coffee. Use a refillable mug to bring your coffee to the food court so you can have good coffee when you have breakfast.

Coffee Press!

I'm bringing an 8 cup hot pot, and a coffee press for coffee in my room.

I used to bring a little coffee pot and just pitch it when I was done, but the water is so-so and the coffee pots never get it hot enough to get rid of the funky flavor.

So - Im brining an itty bitty hot pot to boil some water, and a french press to make the best coffee in the universe. ;)
