The girl in the background of second picture is a future SIL but at age 16 then she was just my baby brother's date. I was always happy she ended up in the photo.

Oh - And I tried on TONS of dresses. I would love something about one dress and something else about another dress and something else about all the dresses until I tried on this one after about six stores and unknown number of dresses. Once I tried this dress on, I loved everything about it. It was if it was made just for me and the search then stopped. Mom was so relieved (she thought I would be like my other two sisters who each bought practically the first gowns they tried on).

Beautiful pictures, TC! And your kids are adorable!! :teeth:

Ranatra...you're one of the lucky ones with a DIS wedding! What a happy bunch you have! :)

Thank you very much for the help Dan Murphy and to the others who also volunteered their help! :) My mother made the dress and veil. and she and my father sewed on over 1000 sequins and seed pearls. Notice how styles have changed. Vietnam and Woodstock were still very much on everyone's mind at this time!
Gorgeous, Boots! That gown must be a treasure to you. :)

I think that Keith looks a little like Matthew Broderick...at least that was the first thought that popped into my head when the picture loaded.
;) He's another cutie, that's for sure.

Worldzone (where I have my clipart and photos stored) has been up and down all weekend.....hopefully you'll be able to see these. These photos don't pick up any of the intricate detailing around the bottom of my dress though.
Blondie...I can't see your pictures. I see those boxes with the red "x" in them.

had to crop out the flower girl.....that part of the pic was wrinkled and she looked like the blueberry girl in Willy Wonka...LOL
Oh yeah, I'm the one to the immediate left of the bride with with the "big hair"

I can see your pictures this morning, Blondie. They look great! Love those pinks. ;)

I think these are just so pretty! And Ranatra had that wonderful WDW wedding! I am trying to convince my DS and his fiance to get married there. Their wedding is in July. But that already have the church here booked. I can't see Boo's Moms pictures. Is it just me?

I can see everyone photos this AM except for disfanatiks  Everyone looks gorgeous! Funny how the styles change over the decades!

Now, dark colors are in for bridesmaids dresses, navy, dark green, cranberry and even black!

I see hats were very big at the end of the 1970's and into the early 1980's!

Great photos everyone! Now let's see if we can get some more!

Come on you guys!!!!

Here's a couple of mine.

I don't look very good in this one. I was really sick that day because I came down witht he flu the day before...but I was really happy :)

And for those of you who tried on tons of dresses. I actually had to buy TWO! The first one I bought was so pretty and I was lucky enough to get it on sale. After I had it for a couple of weeks I decided it just wasn't me. Luckily I bought my vail at another store. I knew I shouldn't have done it, but I started looking at the sales wrack with the wedding dresses on it. And right in the middle of all those dresses was "MY" dress. It was what I'd been looking for but didn't know it. And it was on sale for only $99!!! Not only that, it cost me less to get altered. The total price for my second dress and the alterations cost me less than it would have to have my first dress altered because it was so fancy. I was much happier in my second dress and that's what I ended up wearing :)

Nice pictures, Erika!

No, I can't see Boo'sMom's pictures either.

Beautiful Princess Aurora!

When did you get married?
