What beautiful pictures, CamColt! I love those dresses! :teeth:

Thanks Pin Wizard. As you can see I was another victim to Big Hair Syndrome. ;) Looking back at pictures now, I do regret not wearing it up.

Here is my mom and dad at their wedding in 1977! I don't know where they keep their professional pictures from their wedding but i found this one:

I think it looks nice. Fluffy perms were in at the time. LOL! I had one.

Great pictures of your parents and aunts, Maggie! Hmmm...1977. That was the year I graduated high school. I'm still stunned that it was 25 years ago. There's no way I could be out of high school THAT long! :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

Ha! Lucky you! You were one of the ones we were jealous of. :teeth:

Everyone's wedding pictures were beautiful!!!
I have a wedding picture but I have not figured out how to use my scanner:(

Tullirose-I was also married on September 3rd

Skuttle-I also had my bridesmaids pick their own dress as well- It had to be black ,sleeveless and to the floor. I got so many compliments on them.

I'm so glad to see that a wedding photos thread is still around because I can finally post some pictures. These were taken on July 16, 1983 on an incredibly humid day and we were all wilting fast. I designed and made my dress out of satin and swiss dot. Also made my bridesmaids and my mom's dress. I was very busy sewing right up until my wedding. I decided to have a large swiss dot bow with flowers tucked in it instead of a veil and the train looped up in the back like a bustle, for dancing. My sister (back left ) is a florist and brought all the loose flowers to make the bouquets, with her from BC, where she lives.

Oh Yippie!!! TimNDansMom ressurrected the Wedding Picture Thread and with some absolutely gorgeous photos, I must say. You not only sewed your gown but designed it too!?!?! Stunning. And the bridesmaid dresses are lovely also.

Some photos are missing from this thread now and I notice the link I placed in my very first post on this thread to the older wedding photo thread no longer functions. I guess that is one of the posts that had to be sacrificed. No matter, we just need to get people to REPOST their photos and get MORE people to post too! :D

are very nice. I have Zero wedding pictures, we eloped and didn't have a camera. Which was probably a good thing, me in a mini skirt and tube top and DH in peach jeans and a gauze shirt.

I swear it must have been the drugs.....................

If DH was even the slightest bit romantic, we could renew our vows at WDW and I could get a real wedding gown, and my 4 sisters could be my attendants and DS could be the best man, and all the BILs could be groomsmen, BUT DH is not even a teeny bit into that!

Great pics you guys.........

Boots you look great!!!!

I'll have to look mine out & post one for you.........

:) :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Thank you Tulirose, I had lots of energy back then! ;)

Your niece looks so cute, Fire, and I love the beach photo!

I loved seeing all the wedding pictures and hope that those lost will repost. And I'm sure there will be lots of upcoming wedding pictures to add, too. :)

Fire - Did you get married on the beach? Obviously, a Disney Themed wedding but not in WDW (not with those waves in the background - LOL). Your niece is too cute. Thanks for posting.

Bumping back up for more photos!

Great pictures, ladies! :teeth: I love those purple gowns...so pretty. You're quite talented to design those!

No i actually got married in a gazebo in a City park accross from city hall. The beach is Holland State park and the water is lake Michigan.
