When you were little and just learning to read, did you go by the lingerie section of the department store and think it said LING-ER-REE?

I always did. I also thought whatever ling-er-ree was, it sounded like something fun.

This cracks me up.

Just yesterday, my son says to me: "Mom, we have to rent that In Living Color DVD again--you know the one with the Wayan's Brother's? Remember that character Wanda [played by Jamie Foxx] who said she was wearing sexy LING-GER-REE." Then my son cracked up over that. Loved the way she mispronounced "Lingerie."

This reminds me of once when my now 12 year old son was 3. We were walking through a TJ Maxx and I was looking at the lingerie. DS says in his loud 'I know everything voice', "Mom, I know what those are for...They dress your b**bs." I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me whole

Apparently he had ling-er-ree figured out much younger than I did.
