My sister took me to see a taping of Friends. It was great--it was the one where Chandler has his fake "work" laugh. My sister's friend worked on the set--unfortunately she was sick that day. She'd left tickets for us but if she'd been there, we'd have been able to go backstage and meet the cast afterward. It was still a lot of fun, though!
I was on the Regis and Kathy show, before Kelly! And I have attended a taping and auditioned for the show Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, twice the regular one and the 90's edition one. I love that show.
Back in the early 90's dh and I went to Arsino Hall and a sticom with George Carlin. I'll never watch them tape a sitcom again. It was a 1/2 hour show. We were there about 3 hours and had to beg to be let out. My sister was with us and told them she was sick and was going to throw up. Who knows how long we would have been there is she hadnt told them that!
I was lucky enough to see The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I just loved him. His guests that night were Joe Penny and Neil Simon, and some other guy who'd written a book about "mind over matter". He told about how it was possible for people to walk on hot coals and such. Overall it wasn't one of his better shows but I was thrilled to be there.
