Do you try and cram in a few chapters on your lunch break (or are you too busy DISing ;), or are you a late night reader? :)

I read at night, in bed, after we've watched the news...or whatever...

Luckily my reading light doesn't bother my DH, and I read for an hour or so, until my eyes get tired.

If I'm at home during the day, I really try not to pick up my book. If I start reading, everything else I'm supposed to be doing gets left by the wayside.

When do you do most of your reading? Do you wear glasses to read?

I read before bed some nights (not as often as I'd like) and sometimes after work for an hour or so.

I read while I eat my dinner (DH eats dinner in front of the TV...can you tell we are still newlyweds?), after dinner (after I clean the kitchen/do dishes/make my lunch for the next day) and just before bed.

basically - if TV sucks, I'm reading. :)

I read all the time--at lunch at work, in the evening if I'm not doing something else, and I can't fall asleep unless I read first (even if I'm exhausted, I have to read for about 15 minutes before I can go to sleep!)

DH thinks it's funny that I can immediately stop reading to answer questions--it doesn't bother me to be interupted and I can make the transition from book to talking immediately. I tell him it's from reading with a small child in the house when DD was younger!

I'm kind of an obsessive reader. I can start a book and it's hard to put it down. Sometimes I'll just go through one in a whole sitting. It's a great way to escape from annoying relatives at family gatherings!:o

When my daughter is with me, after her bedtime. During the summer, whenever I feel like it ;) Actually, I do most of my reading on planes and trains lately. Good way to pass the time.

Most of my reading is done either at night before I go to bed, or on the train commuting to work. Ocassionally I will read at lunchbreak, provided I actually take a lunchbreak. I especially like summer because I also tend to read at the pool and beach, where we spend a lot of time each summer.

I work full time and have a 2 year old so really it's whenever I can squeeze five minutes in.

I have a book by my bed and 4 diff. books in 4 sep. bathrooms! I grab every second to read I can. We also do 1 hour reading time a day, but sometimes that is reading to DS5 and sometimes I get to read on my own.

Any spare moment...I never make amove without a book. You never know when you'll have a free minute. I even read in the Drive-Thru line!

I read all the time. Depends on how good the book is. I always read before bed. Even if I am tired, I read for just five or ten minutes. Sometimes I read for hours before I fall asleep. I read on my lunchbreak, I read in the AM when I am blowdrying my hair (if I actually do that), I read at night as I am cooking dinner (if its a really good book) I'll read while stirring rice. I'll read if DFiance is playing a game and there isn't a good movie on tv.

I love to read. Sometimes my books are soo good I would like to bring the book out to dinner with me.

I just finished my book this week last night. I usually read a few books a week. I started in on the library a while back, but I am very bad a returning the books. I have gone back to buying the best sellers or favorite author books. I never buy them at full price though. I refuse...

Hmmm....reading in the throne room? :teeth: ;)

I've taken books with me to read while waiting for a flight, also, while waiting to see the Doctor.

The major advantage about commuting to work on a train: I have 2 hours to read! 1 in the morning, 1 at night. Sometimes, when I'm reading a great book, I hate to see the stop before mine!

I also read in the bathroom. Especially when I'm taking a bath! Relaxing in a bubble bath with a great book is my idea of fun. DH used to jokingly say that the only way I could take a bath was if I didn't take the book with me cause he knew I wouldn't stay there very long!

I read while eating breakfast (before the kids are up), during lunch break, and while the kids are watching TV before bed. I probably get in about 3 hours of reading a day, and usually finish a book in 2 days tops.
