(Inspired by Sandra C)Do you frequent visitors always bring camera?

I have debated this so many times.
I really want to be in the parks without the camera so I can feel more free,
but I can't bring myself to leave it behind. I only use disposable cameras,
and I keep it in a case that ties on my neck. The ONE time I left it behind on purpose was attending MVMCP.
Then...when I saw Cinderella's coach,
I just had to buy a new ( expensive )
disposable camera then and there !

Generally....I use one camera per park, and I buy them at my local drug store chain, and ONLY if I have a good coupon for it.

I have a small camera I keep in my purse at all times. It is about the size of the throw aways. You never know when you need to take a picture. It will fit easily in a pocket . I am bringing my other slr camera for night time pictures because I have an extra flash.

After 20+ trips and children are grown we always take a camera to WDW, but sometimes leave it in our room. We still like to get an occasional snapshot with a character or something else that strikes us, but occasionnally we also enjoy going into the parks without a camera.

I always bring my 35 mm camera along with extra rolls of film. I don't, however, take our video camera. As much I would like to take it, I can't bring myself to carry it all!

We always have to bring our camera. On our last trip I went through 12 rolls of film in a week. DH says he is investing in a digital camera.
Also, I always take our film to a one hour developer on our last night. I even put my pics in my photo album (bought at Disney of course) before I get home. We usually go visiting right away when we get home and then the pics are all ready.

I have lived less than an hour from WDW my entire life, and we visit probably 6-8 times/year, but I ALWAYS take my camera.

We're DVC members, so we often bring family/friends with us, so there are ALWAYS new photo opps to capture!!

I use my camera case as my purse - holds my ID, room key, and discount cards, as well as my cel phone. It works out great!

We always bring a camera... we just don't take as many pictures as we used to - or at least not the same kind of pictures anyway. Since we are no longer restricted by film with a digital camera, we have fun taking more artistic or unique pictures since we have most of the "standard" pictures already.

We have gone every year since 20 yr old DD was 8. Many years we went with my brother's family. We always take a camera. Sure a lot of my pictures are repeated from year to year. But it is fun to see how my dd and her cousins have changed over the years. Not just physically, but in their interests at Disney. We have gone from "must have picture with every Disney character we see" to "I'm much to old to pose for pictures with the Characters" to posing with her childhood favorites and of course, good looking princes (lol).

As my son is still young - i never go anyplace in WDW without my very tiny 35mm camera. I adverage about 12 rolls per trip. We get alot of pleasure out of looking thru our old vacation pictures.

I never wanted to be bothered with a videocamera in the parks. Now that we have been there a few times and are more comfortable with a laid back schedule, i am considering taking it with me next time. I am sure i won't drag it with me all day everyday, but i at least want to take it to MK with me.
