I call rubber bands, rubber bands.

When we lived in New Hampshire, and then Maine, they called them elastics.

What about you?

Rubber bands.

I have never heard them called elastics, interesting!

and paper bags are just that and not sacks....

and pigs are pigs and not garbage disposals except to the politcally correct.....

and soda is soda.....but pepsi is pepsi and coke is coke....but all inclusive it is soda....

Rubber bands....occasionally elastics.

Here in S/W Pa people are known to call them GUM bands. But I call them rubber bands.
But the orthodontists call them elastics. :)

Rubber bands. Elastics are the pony tail holders that are wrapped with fabric.

To annoy my kids, I call them flippers.;) But I call them rubber bands most of the time.

Rubber bands, though I think I've heard of them being called elastic bands. Elastics are what holds a pony tail.
