A lifetime of back pain.
Meeting many, many internet friends in real life.
Having a miscarriage.
Seeing Yul Brenner on stage in The King and I.
Ditto with Ann Bancroft and Patti Duke in The Miracle Worker.
Ditto with the original cast of Jesus Christ Superstar
Seeing the Beatles in concert 3 times.
Renewing a love affair after my divorce. Hey, it didn't work out but at least I knew we weren't right together. I would have always wondered.
Seeing Crater Lake in Oregon.
Setting a master's meet record in the hammer throw in my age group. And, yes, this was before I hurt my back.

also had miscarriages, had to have surgery last year from complications from childbirth...
being able to have lasik after dr's told me I'd be blind by the time I was 10 due to an eye disease

In chronological order, not order of importance:

1. Had surgery for scoliosis at age 13. Have 11" harrington rod screwed to spine. Spent 6 mths in body cast while a freshman in high school. (Tons of dates -- yay - right? )

2. Engaged 3 yrs while in college. Met someone else 6 mths before wedding. Broke engagement 2 mths before wedding. Moved in with the "new guy" 4 mths later. Married him 1.5 yrs later. (hey, love happens) (BTW, the old fiance got married to someone else before I did. Guess it didn't take him long to get over me.)

3. Laid off from asst bank manager job working with best co-workers EVER when bank merged & they closed our branch.

4. Suffered from anxiety attacks for 20 yrs that limited my life; didn't tell anyone; and FINALLY had the WORST ATTACK EVER on the way to a new doctors office. She put me on Lexapro, and life has never been BETTER!!

5. Walked out on tiny insurance agency job after 12 yrs when bosses answers to anything lately was "If you don't like it, there's the door". ba-bye!! (11th person in 6 yrs to leave -- tell ya something) But then that meant we had to give up new ranch style condo we had deposit on that hadn't been built yet.

I'm really NOT as screwed up as this all makes me appear to be. LOL

1. Losing my first DH to a diving accident 2 months after we got married and moved to Colorado.

2. Broke my neck in a car accident (also in CO)

3. Moving back to MI, meeting my DH now and raising our 3 sons.

4. Falling in love with Disney in '98

5. Losing a best friend to cancer
