soooo, how many of us are brave enough to go out black friday?

last year was my first year ever and i loved it!!!! i am planning on going out again this year and i cant wait!!! so who's with me???

I'm not going this year. I'm almost done with Christmas shopping now so I don't see the need to put myself though that torture.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I plan my day as soon as the paper arrives on Thr! I get all the ads circle what I want and where I need to be first! I usually will head to Toys R us and do the price match! Which saves so much time then off to Zany Brainy or the mall depending if TDS is giving something away or has a special, I hit JCP to get my snow globe...usually head home for lunch (yummy turkey sandwich) then take a nap!

I went last year and the year before that. The year before that I actually enjoyed it (and I HATE to go shopping, especially when there's going to be a huge crowd). Last year did me in though. I seriously doubt I'll do it again this year. People are just TOO rude on that day.

If I don't get done, I sure will.

I usually do Target and Best Buy. I have thse store mapped out. I do a recon visit two days prior. (they have the suff out then, but no sale tags on it.. you can tell what will be on sale before the flyer then)

Then I get my Thanksgiving day paper, get the flyers, and study them.

I highlight, date, time strategy. Which store is the furthest, which deal is better, which store is open the earliest., which deal is better, and if two stores offfer the same deals, which store will price match.

I then make a list.

Of gifts/store/price/or price match if possible (Walmart/Target/Kmart price match in my neighborhood)

Then I go!

I'm very very organized, due to my research, and recon visits, so I don't fumble around, etc.

My DW and I go every year! Usually we hit Wal Mart first because they usually open up first and then Target. Then we play it by ear. Our families usually give us a list of what they want us to pick up for them because they don't like to get up at 4 am. I wonder why? I love a good bargain!

The day after Thanksgiving is reserved for bringing out the Christmas decorations! We don't stop until we are finished!

DD and I go every year. We start out around 700 or 800 in the morning. Last year we were at it until about 400. It is just a crazy tradition with us.

I will have baby-sitting duty..DW usually gets up at 4:30-5:00 to go....Then she communicates with her sister on the sales and they work together...
I hope I will find someone to get me a dvd player cheap..

Last year, Best Buy had a deal for like $65 or something like that.
I'm anticipating even cheaper this year, since DVD player prices have dropped considerably.

I check the Thanksgiving paper and choose what I deals I just can't miss. I get up early and hit those, but we do Thanksgiving with my family that day, so I can only make a few stops.

I have seen the Apex name at a couple of places for $59...
I am gonna try to hold out and see what else there will be available..There are so many good deals that day...
Hopefully I will find some deals on gamecube games also...

My SIL and I always make it tradition to go shopping on Black Friday...we love the sales and love the energy of the whole day! LOL....but this year, we break tradition as I will be headed to Florida for my Cruise on that Friday!

Nope wont be Christmas shopping. The day after Thanksgiving we are flying from MA to FL, staying at the Radisson at Port Canaveral that night and cruising on the Disney MAGIC on the 30th! 25more days till we leave home.

I love Black Friday shopping! We arrive at the mall as soon as it opens and are finished by late morning (11:00ish). What a perfect day for a shopaholic to go shopping!
