Inspired by Castaway Cay thread-how many times have you docked??

Well, the 50% has officially been blown out of the water. Docking 10 out of 10 or 34 out of 34 is amazing and reassuring.

As I review this thread, several of the "no docks" are duplicates. The only ones I'm seeing are:

Sep and Oct '99 (hurricane)

Sep '01

Jan '00

Jan '03

And apparently Oct '03

The exact dates aren't mentioned, so I'm not sure if it's just one cruise per month. The '99 dates were due to hurricane damage, so everyone probably knew it ahead of time. Both January dates have been mentioned as "cold", so would have left a lot of us out of the water even if we got on.

A surprise docking failure in warm weather would appear to be exceedingly rare.

Now that we've established that point, it might be a lot easier if we just reported docking failures on this thread. Does anyone have any other dates and circumstances to add? Does anyone know if there was more than one failure on the months listed above?

February 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, docked every time! Perfect weather. Hoping for #5 in February 2004 to be the same.

we went on Halloween in 2002 and we docked.

On our Sept. 2000 cruise we were re-routed due a storm, we swapped St. Maarten for Key West, but made it to St. Thomas and had no problems at Castaway Cay.

My no dock specifics....Was the Sept. 12th, 2001 3 day cruise on the Magic. I think the Wonder was in dry dock. I won't forget this cruise as it was our 1st cruise & we were in WDW on 9/11, and were considering not even going due to the terriorist attack. The cruise was at 50 percent we were told. We spent most to the cruise watching CNN. Was very different. I did not hear anyone complain about not docking.

10/23/03 cruise on the 3 day Wonder was not able to dock at either Castaway Cay (two tries) or Freeport (1 try) due to winds being too high. No rain, though.

We docked every time! 3x in August! Last time the weather wasn't as beautiful. But our time on our 3day was so wonderful that we bought DVC points and have become regulars!!!! CC rules!!!!!!

I cruised Disney twice and made it to Castaway Cay both times!

June 2002 - Docked! <---- Very important that we docked because we got married on Castaway Cay!
