Inspired by being a thread highjacker- the OT thread!

MAK mom, you must have been in bed. The boards just shut down out of nowhere. I was in the middle of sending a post and it didn't go through. And that was it.

Aidensmom, I'd rather clean every house on the block than go to Chuck E. Cheese. I'm sooo glad the boys are too old for that now.

Been thinking about having another baby lately, but remembering stuff like Chuck E. Cheese helps me wait for grandkids. Plus, DH thinks it is a terrible idea.

How old are your boys? My youngest has hardly ever been to Chuck E Cheese. Sometimes I feel a little guilty, but I get over it quickly. I used to bring my oldest 3 kids there a lot, but Jake (6 years younger than my 3rd child) doesn't really know the difference. Of course this is the child that prefers Indian food to pizza, so he probably doesn't really care. :teeth:

You know how you look snarky up in urban dictionary .com ? (and look for definition #10?) I made the mistake of looking those words up there, not really thinking that there would be bad difinitions. OMG!

Someone's been visiting urban dictionary! ...Tell me again about how you're just an average housewife???

I still have my black eye. You wouldn't believe how many people ask me how I got it (hit by a patient, who was then very sorry), and then look at me like maybe I'm lying...total strangers!!

What if I were getting beaten by my husband? Would thier looks help me any?

I feel worse than ever for abused women!

Oh geez #4... My Innocent eyes! I will never recover!!!!!!

OK, I have a bunch of kids around. Mine, my biological nephew, plus a little girl I pretty much raise, she sleeps at home maybe 2X a month (mom is a druggie/alcoholic/lunatic). They range in age from 11-17. But, they keep each other busy. The girl is best friends with my neighbor's daugher, so the both of them are always together here or there. My neighbor likes to help out with her, too, but doesn't want to have her living in the house.

It sounds more wacky than it is. I generally refer to them all as my kids. She's my daughter, he's my son. Just makes for LOTS of laundry!

Can you see why DH doesn't want another kid?? :) And why I need to run away to WDW sometimes without them?

WDW without kids is SO much fun! We have the luxury of living close by, so we can sneak away without my son every so often. They have some really great things there for those of us who don't want to spend every hour of our trip riding Dumbo and Winnie the Pooh. :rotfl:

Good Evening!

I brought wine. :thumbsup2

OOOHH! I didn't know we were drinking! I'll have a whiskey sour, with a lime instead of a cherry. :drinking1

But who's the designated driver? Oh, DVCLiz will come and pick us up. I call shotgun!

I don't know if Sylvester is showing up, but if he does, he'll have a beer to soothe his candy-cane body.

What are you all having?

I said average housewife, didn't I? :rotfl2: You should meet my sister. At least I think she's my sister. She's old enough to be my mother and she calls me her BLC--can't say the first word, but basically illegitimate Love Child. :rotfl: Our mom thinks we're so bad! And our other sister is a very straight-laced Mormom. What a sight the 3 of us are! :)

WDW without kids is a blast! I've done it with my sister once and my DH once. I'd like to do it with my sister again sometime. Well, I'd like to go to the DIS ladies meet, but don't think that's going to work this year. Maybe next year.

MouseWorshipin, your house sounds like a zoo! The good news is that you can send some of them home. Some days I wish that I could send some of mine home, but I can't. :teeth: Does your nephew live with you?

I should go to bed--my DH is sitting on the couch asleep. How can guys do that?

The nephew lives here, so does the girl. Once or twice a month the mom calls and asks me who I think I am, kidnapping her daughter, and she's going to call the police, etc. So, I send the girl over there for a while, sometimes she stays the night, then she comes back here.

It isn't as zoo-like as it sounds. All of the kids are responsible, and do what their told. Ever since I was 12, I have believed in running a tight ship where children are concerned. They are not allowed to misbehave, or talk back, and they all do their chores.

We have a good time, and I like being able to help, especially with the girl. She's sweet beyond explanation.

But now we're getting drunk!

I heard on the radio someone got DUI and was told to do the alphabet and couldn't get past C!

This guy is on...

he is hilarious. :teeth:
