Today is so blah: rainy (again), cloudy (again)... BUT, I'm meeting a friend and we're going shopping. Nothing like a friend, the mall, and a nice dinner to perk me up, no matter what the weather.

Plus, I don't have to work today. I work tomorrow, from 10-2. How easy is that? It's like the slowest time at the salon.

And then, I'm pretty much off for two weeks.

OT- but does anyone here have eczema? My niece does, and I'm trying to find a good sunscreen for her that won't aggravate the eczema.

OT again: Last night I had to do the most disgusting thing I've ever had to do.

My dog is really into ingesting things that are not her food right now. Cotton balls and kleenex out of the trash, my old makeup sponges (out of the trash), whatever. So, anyway, last night Mark gets home and he takes her outside. Well, she goes poop- but something is hanging OUT OF HER BUTT.

She keeps waddling around the yard, but can't push whatever it is out- it's just dangling there. Well, my dh- lovely guy that he is, says, "It's YOUR dog- I'm not pulling it out. I clean up the cat messes." I momentarily flash back to the night before, when the cat puked and I left it for him to clean up. *&^%.

SO, I grab a wad of paper towels, and proceed to pull what was obviously a piece of rope or string, out of my dog's behind. The worst part, though (as if this weren't already bad enough) is that it was about a foot long!

That dog is lucky I love her.

That happened to a friend of mine's dog. But it was a rubber band. And she had to take the dog to the vet because it would just slide out. It was tied up inside and had to be "removed" by the vet. Ewww.
