Other than being nosy (which I totally am) I am vicariously living through your dating experiences, since I didn't have many. Not that I don't love my dh (I certainly do), but I miss the giddiness that dating brought. That sort of nervous excitement!

WIth a guy I met a long time ago. I was always with someone or he was so it just never worked out for us to date. Well, now Im free. I was thinking about him yesterday and how I should give him a call to see what he was up to. And out of the blue, he sent me a message to tell me he was thinking about me. Strange. So the next day we both have open is next friday.

He wants to take me to dinner, he said a romantic dinner but im fine with just good food, and wants to do the whole walk on the beach thing and then whatever else i want. Hes kinda the romantic type.

Im not into the whole traditional romance type thing. You want to show me you care?.....get my oil changed, rotate my tires, have my car washed. That will make me want you. But it is nice to get flowers and be romanced.

Dh brings me flowers pretty often. It is nice. Or he'll clean up the whole house for me.

For my birthday last year he didn't get me anything (because I got my bday present early- my dog Jules), so he wrote me the sweetest most beautiful letter. He NEVER does stuff like that (writing) so it was soo wonderful. I still have it. I hope I can show our kids someday and sick them out.
