Inspired by being a thread highjacker- the OT thread!

It seems like we had a ton of weddings all atonce to go to, and now everyone is knocked up. Babies everywhere. Not my close friends, just people I know.

In fact, out of my 5 bridesmaids, only 1 is married and that's SIL. None of the others are even engaged. 1 is close, but the other 3 aren't.

I'm the first to settle down in my group.

I generally go to about 8 weddings a year. You would think by now everyone I know would be married.....nope.

The best thing about weddings, IMO, are open bars and DMO's.

Well, if I dont get ex to go with me, hopefully I can meet someone new or go back through my old date list and see who cleans up nice.

Yeah that happened with us too. I wasn't the first one to settle down in my group of friends, but my best friend and I got married within two weeks of each other. Our other good friend got married two years after we did and is pregnant now and we're still thinking "No not yet, we've only been married for 4 years.. wait 4 years?!! holy..."

I am jealous. I never had a date list. Not even close. But then again, I have been with dh since I was 19... I never dated much before him, though. Just a couple of guys, but never "serious."

OT- I got my period this morning at least a week early. WTH?

This is your first month off of BC right? My first month off was a week early, and it was a very bad one. My second one was a couple of days early, but better. Hopefully th is month I'll be back to normal.

doesn't my period know I want it to be "late" and not early! How inconsiderate.

I can't figure it out- only explanation is that my body is messed up coming off birth control (my last Nuva Ring was last month- I started my period 4/12, and then again today).

my cat really does hate me. She hates everyone except dh. You should see her when he gets home.... Little hussy. She jumps in his arms and licks all over his face.

When I was juggling more guys than I should have, I used to make flash cards about them, so when I went out with them again, I could give myself a quick brush up.

I think I wanted all of the guys that I was dating to know that I was dating other guys at the same time, that's what they do to girls so it made them want me more.
Until I met DH and he wouldn't put up with that so I had to stop doing that or he would have dumped me.

They kinda knew I was dating others, I just couldn't keep them straight though. I needed the flash cards to remind me of things about them.....where we went last, things he mentioned, blah blah blah.

My friends accuse me of "dating like a man". True that!

I'm way WAY too much of a loudmouthed moron to ever pull off dating more than one person at a time.

I'd trip myself up within 5 minutes.

I couldn't even be around MIL and FIL last week because SIL hadn't told them she was pregnant, and I KNEW I'd spill the beans, so I just avoided them until she told them.

It sounds bad but I think you have to date like a man, cause you don't want to seem weak or they'll walk all over you.
