You're a good aunt. Will you be mine? I'll be REALLY good in the car, promise.beckmrk04 said:I have them overnight or for the weekend a lot. However, I have never driven across the country with them, and then kept them for a whole week! So, we'll see! They are super-excited though, and they love staying with us. They aren't really the types to get homesick or miss mommy too much (long story), so things should be ok.
I always joke with DH that they are our practice kids- so we'll know what to do when we have our own!![]()
It's really good though! I hope you all have a great trip. I'll probably be in for a huge rude awakening when I have kids, if I have kids. My mom says it will be different when it's my own but they just have so much energy!beckmrk04 said:I have them overnight or for the weekend a lot. I was so impressed with your first two sentences, then I read the third.Sylvester McBean said:absolutely. I don't search the web looking for pictures of girls making out to get my jollies. I can go to Shephard's on Clearwater beach and see it live. I've just noticed a huge spike in content of web sites of it. I don't own any GGW DVD's, it's just a trend I was commenting on.

Ok. It your other posts made it sound a little different.Sylvester McBean said:absolutely. I don't search the web looking for pictures of girls making out to get my jollies. The older I get the more scared I get. When I was younger I thought I would have had kids by the time I was the age that I am now. And when one of my 5 year old nieces was born I kept her from the time she was 2 months to 5 months because my SIL didn't want to put her in daycare, and I loved that.beckmrk04 said:I used to not want kids- before I met Mark. Now we plan on trying when we get back from WDW!!![]()
I have so much fun with my nieces- I have aquired a lot of patience in the past couple of years (living with Mark has taught me much).![]()

I just worry about why these girls feel compelled to do this?! What turns normally fairly sensible girls into complete idiots just to get male attention?

It is funny! I thought we would start trying to have kids maybe a year or two after we got married, and now it's been almost 4 years and I'm still saying, No thanks, not right now.beckmrk04 said:How funny! I am the complete opposite!
I always thought I would be single and get married in my thirties and never have kids...
Now, I'll be 25 in a month, I've been married 1 1/2 years (we've been together since Nov. 2000, and lived together since May 2001), and we're going to start trying for our first at the endof May. Now I want 2 or 4 kids, Mark just wants 2. We'll see.
Funny how much plans change, huh?
I'm sorry. My smilies have become a major pain in the buttinski, so I haven't been including them where I should.Sylvester McBean said:'I can' and 'I do' are totally different.
Sylvester McBean said:alcohol, cameras, and the cheering. if you watch any of the spring break footage on MTV, it's basically a censored version of GGW.
