That may be a reason, but it's no excuse. Maybe they want 15 minutes of fame, or feel that since men are ogling them they MUST be sexy- even though men will ogle virtually anything with XX chromosomes.

But, I guess my real question is: why this spring-break free-for-all mentality? I'm sure most of those people's parents would be appalled. And probably- deep down, they are ashamed too. I've been PLENTY drunk, and managed to keep my clothes on. And even if people cheered me on, I'd tell them where they could stick it. It's just degrading and humiliating.

Now, the GGW girls are at least getting PAID. That I can even understand. I just don't understand what the attraction in it is for the other girls.

Most of this I agree with. Except the getting paid part...doesn't that make it worse?

I have been blind drunk, but would never take my clothes off in public.

I do think all those girls are looking for someone to think they are special, though, just like girls who sleep around.

Well, this is somewhat OT -- but I need to vent. We had planned a remodel/addition to our house and found out today that the cost is more than twice what we budgeted! No way can we do that. I can't believe how much that stuff costs, and my DH was going to do all the electrical himself and BIL was going to do the plumbing-- and even with that more than twice what we wanted to spend. Oh well, now I don't have to worry about our Novemember Disney trip getting canceled due to construction costs running over because there will be no construction for us!

Well, at least the girls are getting something out of the deal. That at least sounds more fair to me- if the GGW girls want to sign up for a job to put their naughty bits on display for cash,it really makes them more like paid strippers, as opposed to FREE strippers.

Oy- construction costs. SOO expensive. We were lucky when we were remodeling to have lots of family who had construction expertise, otherwise, I can't imagine what it would have cost us!!

Construction is the worst, I"ll have to say. I'm almost at the end of my new sunroom/garage addition, and I'm SO READY for it to be over!!!!! You're right, it has taken almost twice as long and of course I"ve changed my mind and added some (expensive) options along the way. I hope it will be worth it!!!!

Ok, I gotta ask. Does anyone else have a dh, or I guess dw, that loves Star Wars?

My Dh is all about the Star Wars. I have come to terms with it. I even posed for not one, but TWO of those silly pictures when you get off the Star Tours Ride- and now we are going for Star Wars Weekends.

And I have seen all six movies multiple times. I don't really even complain about it- there are worse movies.

But what's the big deal? I think if I asked dh, poor guy would have a stroke!

I DID have to put my foot down and nix all Star Wars-related wedding ideas. That was too much!

My DH, DS8 and DS5 all love Star Wars!! My sons can talk about the characters for hours.

We're going to Star Wars weekend for the first time in May. The boys can't wait to meet the SW characters.

And to get back off topic, I'll add that my family likes to ride the buses at WDW and we don't rent a car.

Li-iz, HOW can you be "against" bangs? I got my hair cut after work today and it looks great. I finally let the stylist have some fun...she called it "sexy hair." Not wild & crazy, but hip.

Mmmm. I just made homemade lemon-orange-aid. Yes, I actually squeezed lemons and oranges. Oh my is it good. I'm skipping spring and jumping right ahead to summer. Now if only the weather would follow suit...
