Its been coming up on two months since I broke up with my boyfriend and I have only had three dates. Two weren't that good, and one went really well. So we will see what happens.

I'll bet you had the ex then. Bummer. I'm going to ask my bro if his (now taken) friend has made friends, if there's anyone else.

But I hate setting people up with others that I don't know. The guy could end up being a big jerk, and then my pals get hurt...don't want that on my head. But I'll check anyway.

Mr. Right is out there. You two just first have to have the life experiences that will make you perfect for each other when you meet. Timing is everything. I really believe that.

Yeah, I agree with setting people up with someone you dont know. Might not work out so well. Better to not do that.

And I know what you mean about Mr.Right being out there and that timing is everything. The last guy I went out with this past tuesday, I actually met him 5 1/2 years ago. We have dated off and on since then. And its been a timing issue for us. We'll see how it goes though.

Thanks ktpool. I appreciate it. This birthday certainly hasn't been a contender for "Best Birthday Ever." Although, I guess I still have it pretty good compared to some people, so I'm forcing myself out of the pity party I want to throw.

I never knew what a drama queen I could be. If I were my friend, I'd kick my butt and tell me to snap out of it.

Would you put a GPS tracker on your child's vehicle?
My kids are only 9 and 6, but I think I would. There is a a story on the news right now about the technology. I am pretty sure I would put one in my child's shoes, if it was affordable and possible.

We thought about it when our DD started driving, but it was pretty expensive and we decided not to do it. Maybe if the cost was a lot lower. I forgot how much it cost.

No way! I'm one of those parents who doesn't really want to know what is being hidden from them. I think God gave my children the gift of lying to spare me from worry and heartache. But I can understand people who have a different (and probably better) style of parenting wanting to do that.

I think our cars actually have those things. Those are the things where you call them up and they unlock the doors, right? We have OnStar in the one and I don't know what in the other (same deal). But I won't be calling to find out where the kids are.

Sure glad my mom didn't have that option, though. Yikes!

No need to get GPS for the sweetpea. She is still attached to my hip most days. Dont need some device to tell me that. What can I say, she loves her mommy. And plus, she tells me that she is never gonna leave me so I wont need it ever. Aint I lukcy?

And ugh, I need my cycle to be more regular. Im late a few days and its bugging me. Now Im counting back thinking I counted wrong. Or skipped a few days while counting. I know its not that difficult. But come on, is it 28 days from the start of your last cycle or 28 from the end? I should have figured this out by now Im thinking. But it never occurs to me until Im late. Either way, Im off Im sure. Just wish I could go like clock work like I have heard some people say. Oh well. Got to just keep my purse stocked just in case.

My birthday went alright. I'm just moody and po'd about the job thing and the period/lack of pregnancy thing. I just need to get over it though- I have faith that when it's meant to happen, it will, and things will all work out. They always do.

I just told dh all the days we HAVE to do the deed to catch my next ovulation- he's thrilled.

We just went and saw X-Men 3 with BIL and SIL. It was really good! But if you go- stay in the theater even after the movie is over- there's a surprise at the end of the credits.

And I'm totally the kind of person who would put a tracker on my kids car. Without them knowing.

Anywho, my inlaws are taking us shopping for some plants for my yard, so I'll check y'all later, ya hear?

I'm back. Planted a bunch of plants- front yard is looking a lot prettier! I'm so horrible with plants, though. I'm sure I'll have them dead before long and MIL will kill me.


I bought an audio French course yesterday with my birthday money- I have taken 5 years and have retained quite a bit, but I'd like to brush up. Just in case we win the lottery and decide to move. You know. Although- when I went to France a few years ago, they all spoke English anyway. It was actually kind of embarrassing: we were at the Hard Rock Cafe in Paris, and we were trying to buy souvenirs in our broken French, and the guy looked at us in disgust, and said, "I'm Canadian. Just speak English."

Im not that great at keeping plants and flowers alive either. The only one that lives is the one I have in my bathroom. Im convinced the steam is whats keeping that baby alive. The sweetpea on the other had had a green thumb like you wont believe. Lucky girl.

I love this show...and I just found out that it is not returning until the middle of next year. Bummer :-(

Bought a bunch of clothes at CJ Banks yesterday. Shorts, 2 shirts (although 1 shrunk in the wash), shorts and a really pretty white skirt.

Sounds like you had a great shopping trip. I went shopping on saturday with my mother, she told me to pick out my gift. I couldn't find anything I liked or anything that made me look thin and tall. So I ended up getting 4 new bras and a bunch of new undies. Those suckers cost way more than a new outfit would have.

I dont watch Medium. Im waiting for "How I Met Your Mother" to come on though. Its a rerun, but I love that show.
