I love Christmas and we usually put our tree up over Thanksgiving weekend, but when christmas is over, its over and I want the tree and all the mess gone.... I have been known to take it down christmas night, but usually its on the 26th.

Jan 1st...I am ready by Dec 27th but I leave it up until Jan 1st.

Im just like you. It goes up ASAP after Thanksgiving(usually that weekend), but then when Christmas is over, its over. I want the tree down by the 26th.
I did leave it up longer last year because we were away over Christmas and had our family gathering on New Years Eve(we usually do Christmas Eve), but that was an exception.

Usually take ours down New Year's Day. Don't know why but I've always felt sad looking at the tree after Christmas is over.

We used to leave it up until New Year's. Now it comes down the 26th or 27th.

Sometime the week after Christmas. But I want it gone by New Years Day.

Until it starts to drop - which is usually late January - mid February. We don't put it up until close to Christmas & we cut a tree ourselves. They tend to last forever! I love Christmas & am always sorry to see it end.

Jan. 1st. We usually put it up on Thanksgiving day or the day before. :)

When I can no longer stand it. ;) Usually right after New Years. :)

Not until after the Epiphany on Jan 6th. For us Christmas isn't over until then :)

This has been something I've been working on. DH's family always puts it up on the 23rd and takes it down on Epiphany. My family puts it up on the second week-end in Dec. and takes it down on New Years. We have tried it both ways. This year we will be in Disney for the first part of Dec. so we will put it up and take it down later.

Sometime after Epiphany---last time, I stuck it in the closet--artificial tree.

I would like to keep it up until Jan 1st, but DH MAKES me take it down the night of the 25th! He is SUCH a GRINCH!!

First week of January. Pretty much when we get around to it AND know that all the celebrations and get togethers are over.
For us Christmas goes on and on, because there are so many parts to the family always dropping by. So we wait awhile. Also, we don't like to get rid of Christmas too fast, since the time before it is always a pain.
