Uh huh, just this year even! We really should get together! What days are best for you?

Yay for a new camera! I'm so obsessed with photography; I spend way too much on camera/photo related items!

Love the picture! He is beyond adorable!!!!

Phew! This week is almost over! In the last week, I’ve had 2 tests, a SIM lab (which requires way more prep work than is really necessary), and a paper to write. Studying for these tests is KILLER. The first time I was in college, all I had to do was go to class & read my homework, and I got As & Bs – not now! I guess it’s a good thing though, since I’m dealing with people’s lives and all…

So to celebrate this week being over, I’m doing a few things:
1) going to Charlotte NC tomorrow to visit some friends from another website
2) having a “Disney Day” today

Once I’m done writing this little segment, I’m going to go read my Passporter while I watch Food Network Challenge, my Planning video, and some other shows that I have saved on the DVR (“Samantha Brown’s Disney Favorites” is one of them).

I also have a tentative plan for our arrival day in my head. I think it’s about an 8 hour drive to WDW from here, so I hope we get up fairly early & head out. I don’t like to dawdle around when it comes to me getting on the road. Here goes:

7am – leave! Get the heck outta dodge! C-ya Myrtle Beach! Wouldn’t wanna B-ya! (note to self: don’t forget the coffee, head to McSludge and get some joe & a biscuit, also, don’t forget the Disney tunes)
4pm – arrive, check in. I know this is a 9 hour difference, I’m accounting for potty breaks & lunch
??pm – head to DTD, eat at EoS or WPE, which ever strikes our fancy, do some shopping if we want, or head over to the property & ride the monorail& visit the resorts. This really will likely depend on Conner’s mood as well.

I have no idea what time Mom & Dad will arrive, since they’ll be driving in from KY. I expect my in-laws will head to MB & follow us down, or we’ll follow them, whatever.

I think once I get the Passporter read, I’ll be able to organize in my head a little more on the restaurants that really appeal to me, and introduce them to our parents & get their feedback on them. Kyle is excited about the venison spring rolls at Artist Point, so we may go there for our “date” night, but I’m not sure what night that will be.

I’m also trying to decide if I think DHS will be worth a full day. I’m thinking it won’t be with Conner being so young. Dad & I loved watching the animators, but since they’re not there, the only interest DHS holds for me are a few rides (I’ll list those in another post). I think we’ll probably combine our AK day with DHS. I really love EPCOT (it’s my favorite park) and want to spend a day walking around World Showcase.

Ok guys, that’s all for now! I’m gonna go get fulled-up on Disney!

I am so hoping to have a little time in the next few weeks to start planning like this. Sounds like a great start to your trip! :) And yay for getting your Disney fix!!

Yay, I see plans! :thumbsup2 You've been so busy with school and stuff that you haven't had much planning time. Can't wait to hear more.

Enjoy your Disney night!!

I think you're right, with Conner being a little guy you probably don't need a whole day at DHS. :goodvibes

Glad your stressful week is almost over.:thumbsup2 You just have to get through tomorrow and then you have the whole weekend ahead of you for Disney planning!:cool1:

Your Disney night sounds wonderful! I want one of those. :lmao: What way do you guys go? If you go 378 through Conway it saves a good bit of time. You don't have to deal with all the red lights and anti speed zones.

WOHO for plans!

I hope you enjoy your Disney Day! That sounds like the perfect way to spend a day to me!

More Disney fixes this week! We wound up watching "Pineapple Express" that night.

Busy is an understatement! I'm in the home stretch! Light at the end of this semester's tunnel!

Enjoy your Disney night!!

Yeah, I could pass on that park this time and be OK with it.

I've not mapped it out! Never been that way from here. That bypasses 17?

I think so too! :goodvibes

Ugh.. again, the dis hates me.. Idk how I missed this update!! Ok, I am here now, and jazzed that you are starting to make plans! My head is starting to feel a.d.d. again, and I do n ot know how to make plans all of a sudden lol! Maybe it's because jack's bday is coming up, easter, sophia and joe visiting, and then Kayla's first holy communion... who knows lol

I love the idea of your first night! I highly recommend Earl of Sandwich!! It was soooooo good, and I am not a sandwich person at all!! I am soo soo soo looking forward to that on our first night*

Also, i think lil' man will love riding the monorail, even if he is a lil;' bitty!

Can't wait to hear what else you have planned!!

*Disclaimer, if you do not like EoS, I hold no accountability... if they screw up, also not my fault ;)

Take 501 (or 544) to 501 in Conway. From there you yake hwy 378....you'll be on it for about an hour or so then you hit I 95 and you stay on it 'til you hit I4. It's the fastest easiest way from here. A lot of people take 17 because Mapquest or people tell them to but 17 is so time consuming! It may be literally 1-2 miles shorter but you go through so many little towns and by the time you calculate all the time in it's an extra 45 minutes to an hour that way. More if you hit traffic.

:rotfl: I don't think it'll be a problem! DH & his parents love sammiches, my parents are more into stuff from WPE, so we may split up, grab our food, & meet back. Who knows? I'll just go with the flow :upsidedow

Well, if it takes 2 hours to get to Charleston, then that will be quicker! We live right between 707 & 544, so getting to Conway is easy! Thanks!:thumbsup2
