i finally made it completely through the RCCL and Epcot 101 segments (how many times can a person be interupted when they're trying to listen to something?????)....it took me 3 days with all the interuptions.

first off, though you mentioned in passing the less intense side of Mission Space, i'm not sure people who aren't familiar with Mission Space picked up on the fact that there are two different sides - the original version and the newer wimpy version (i think the green side).
When it first opened, DH, DD and i couldn't ride mission space as we can't do anything that spins - so DS got to ride it alone (while we played the group game at the back). And he rode it repeatedly!!
But then they opened the wimpy side and wow!!! it's soooooooo much fun.
Probably not as realistic as the spinning side in terms of producing the feeling of lift off, but it really does a nice job of creating the feeling that you're going on that mission in space, and without spinning.
The whole story line around it is fun as well.
The imagineers really got this one right, with the script and the atmosphere.
Absolutely fun and you won't get sick. It's a very mild simulator.
Though it is a very small space and i've had a few people panic when it closes, but once it starts they're fine.
As for Innoventions - our absolute favorite part of Epcot.
Well, maybe that's not true - we love all of epcot.
We usually spend several full days at Epcot on every trip, and many many hours of that in innoventions.
We've always loved innoventions - from when the kids were very very little, and when they were teens and still today.
The "kids" are now 27 and 25 and both married and all 6 of us spent hours and hours in innoventions when we were there in August, coming back on several different days. Even starting there one day right after rope drop so we could get several rides on sum of thrills before the line built up - of course one of us - meaning me - first made the FP run to soaring.
We have a blast in innoventions. It's so relaxed in there and wonderfully geeky - exactly what we love.
We do everything, including all the 'kiddy' interactive things. They're silly and fun, and you do learn a thing or two (who hasn't picked up a few don'ts from the fire game and storm struck?)
i can't imagine epcot without innoventions!!
so Kathy, we're all with you, we LOVE innoventions. ..
