So after much thought and pressure on DF we have decided to do the unthinkable and use our credit cards this weekend!! Now I know I just said people shouldn't complain about money and their trip in the same post. I am not. What I am doing is using our credit cards and whining because we never use them.. so it's like sinning to do so. But really it is what most normals people do lol. So here is a little background info. I started planning the trip forever ago!! I planned on using our tax return to pay for the trip up front and picking up extra work hours. Well I did all that. Of course with our luck, we had many bumps in the road.. I needed a new car.. well car period df and I were sharing one, uh what else, oh yes, df quit his job and we moved to a bigger MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE apartment.. oh but wait, while moving into this apartment df put his hand through a plate glass window and cut his hand wide open.. so guess what?? He wasn't able to start that new job right away, but we still had to pay that new rent price!!! Then something else which I can't recall right now other then the $2500 price tage came along, and then DF's engine in his car blew up.. so we bought a new engine.. yet another 3k out the window. So needless to say, our tax return went to quite a bit more than the disney trip. During all this my wonderful (not so much) father said he wanted to pay for our trip!! Far be it from me to say no!! Well, of course I believed him and hoped he was gonna keep his promise!! But of course he we are in August, almost one month exactly to the trip and not a penny!! Then he calls and says, I am being unfair and I can't put him on a time restraint for this.. uhm hello.. trips need to be paid off before you go on them!! Luckily(or shamefully) I knew he would end up pulling some crap like this, so I worked 590876544 extra hours and paid the trip off myself! If he does give us the $1500 he promised I will be shocked, but I'm not keeping my hopes up for that amount. He did say he sent a check for $500.00 this week. Since I knew he would flake I worked enough extra hours and budgeted well enough that I now have all the money we need in place.. well once that 500 comes in we are golden. So back to the point, originally if he gave us that $1500.00 all expenses for the trip were to come out of that. But he isn't so we're dusting off the good ol' credit cards and goin wild. Luckily come october I am booked for extra work out the wazoo, so paying the cc off will happen in no time! That is the only reason I am ok with it at all! Normally I do not advocate the use of CC..but sometimes a girl going to Disney has gotta to do what shes gotta do! I also have to put DD back to school gear on this CC, so it all kinda works out.. and who knows, maybe after the trip he will throw some more money our way, then we an pay the cc off easy peasy!! Eh.. a girl can hope.
So on to my list of things we need to buy this weekend!!
*Back to school clothes and all that jazz for DD
*Larger memory cards for the digital camera
*Tapes for the camcorder, so I can catch everything cute
*Possibly a bathing suit for me, as I hate the one I own now
*aloe
*sunscreen
*Beer and liqour.. what we wanna have some fun too, but not at disney prices lol!
*Double stroller/sit and stand (any suggestions?? I am a nanny, so this will be helpful even after Disney)
*Cooler
*GPS
*Ipod car charger
*Nintendo DS car charger
*Small umbrellas/ponchos??
*Stamps, so we can send postcards!!
*Mole skin
*New sneakers or disney appropriate footwear for all!
*Stain stick remover
*AA batteries..not sure why, but DF insists!
*ziploc bags, again not sure why, but we're positive we will need em!
*Sharpies

If you have money for frivolous items or coffees or new clothes or some stupid necklace you wanted on ebay, then why don't you have money for the trip you can't wait for?? Am I making sense here?
I don't bother trying to figure that out anymore, I'll never get it.
But my love for Disney and my love for tattoos are two separate things. I won't get any Disney characters tattooed on me with the exception of Nightmare before christmas. That will be my next sleeve, but not because it is Disney, but because it is Tim Burton! We'll see when that happens lol
