I'm a firm believer in not OVER extending the kids, so we do one activity per kid, per session.

We do that only because we don't want to overextend mommy! :)

ds,16 high school football..it seems like a FULL TIME JOB to me...i think it's at least 20-25 hrs a week. Football is like a cult...but that's a whole 'nother thread.

DD, 14..Stage manager for a 6th grade play (she's in 8th)...about 6 hrs a week, when that's over, she'll be involved in her own play, about the same amount of time. Babysitting about 10 hours a week. Girl Scouts 1 hour a week.

Right now my 6 year old DS is playing soccer. He has practice for 2 hours a week and a game every Saturday. In the Spring his choice is t-ball. He has shown an interest in the computer club, but they have yet to begin for this year, but when they do he will probably join the club. We are not sure about boy scouts yet, he just became eligible because he just turned 6, we will wait and see about that one.
