Hello where is the link or general direction of "the rules"
Twice I have seen post ******, and then a moderator follows with something like "this company is banned,"

How do I know who is banned from being mentioned?
Is it all companies non disney??

Any company name that comes up all ***** is indicative of having been removed from further discussion or participation on the DIS. There is no publicly available list that I'm aware of. But the asterisks serve the purpose of letting you know.

If the astricks show up when you post then you know that it is a banned word. If you are just mentioning it in passing just leave it be. That is the purpose of the *****-- to filter out the words that are not welcome.

If you are making a post where the entire point is to ask about something that ends up being filtered then it is probably best to just edit and post "forget it" or PM a moderator and ask them for advice. There are really not very many companies that come with the *******, most have violated our TOS in the past, leading to that action. We welcome discussions of non Disney topics (on the appropriate forums) and other Disney related companies as long as they are within the board Guidelines and TOS. Primarily no spamming with sales pitches and those kinds of things.
