Anyone have a recent experience at Club 33...details on dress for dinner?...any VIP experience to go with it?... Graciously been given the opportunity to attend this Saturday while traveling to Anaheim for business and wanted to hear any details.

I would repost your question on the theme park board for a better chance at getting a response.

We have been a few times, latest was a couple of years ago. Business casual or sport shirt and slacks are fine.

If you transform and roll out to the Disneyland forum, there is a cubic zirconium truckload of info on Club 33, how to get it, dress code, manners, and many people looking to get an invitation :thumbsup2

That's where you'll want to be for this line of questioning :)

Here is the official word (at least as of May):

LUNCH: Guests may come in fashionable casual attire in order to enjoy the Disneyland® Resort in comfort. However, no tank tops, cutoffs, swimsuits, bare midriffs, sweatpants, flip flops or beachwear may be worn. Walking-length shorts (knee length) are acceptable. Jeans are acceptable, provided that they cover undergarments and are not extremely faded or torn. Shoes are required to be worn at all times.

DINNER: If Guests have been enjoying the day in Disneyland® Resort parks, evening casual attire is acceptable for dinner.
For gentlemen, collared shirts and trousers are appropriate; for women, an informal dress or pant with blouse are appropriate. Jeans are acceptable, provided that they cover undergarments and are not extremely faded or torn.
Shorts, however, are not permitted for dinner.

CHILDREN: Appropriate dress for children and young adults is required.

I would love to see this Jem

When we went in Feb, we were happy to dress up a bit. There were plenty of people in the dining room dressed for the parks (we were at lunch), and they were treated just as well as we were, but still, we were happy we'd put on some nice clothes. :)

There's a lot of Club 33 threads on the Disneyland board. Your best bet is to check there or repost this thread there.

I was lucky enough to go 2 years ago for Sunday brunch. My understanding is that dinners are formal (as per dress code posted above). No characters will be around (there were characters for Sunday brunch). The alcoholic drinks were quite good. Don't pass up the opportunity to buy some memorabilia on your way out. They are located in a small cupboard near the hallway. They sell ear hats, glasses, hats, sweaters. We met a bartender that was kind enough to give us a short "tour" after our meal ended. There are some interesting "artifacts" in the Club, such as Lillian's piano and other personal items.

Here is the Yelp website that contain very recent dinner reviews & food pics:

Have fun and wish I could join you!

I was there for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. In keeping with Walt's vision, I wore a suit and my Wife and Daughter wore dresses.

Somewhat disappointingly, we were the best dressed table in the restaurant. I acknowledge the relaxed dress code at lunch, but I would have hoped for more than the t-shirts, shorts and jeans worn by others. I know... I'm a 39 year old fuddy duddy.

No I just think dressing up has just become lacksed lately. I have had several run ins at restraints were the dress code was lowered.

Even at Disney, when we were told the dress code when making the reservation and we see a guy in a tank top/ wife beater and gym shorts with the wife and kids dressed similar. It angers me, have some respect.
