Info about value resorts...

Hi all,

Our family (wife, 2-year old daughter and I) is planning a trip to WDW this December (10-17). I have gone to WDW about 12 times but have never stayed on-site. For this trip, we would like to go a value resort, such as the all-movies resort.

Do you have any recommendations and/or suggestions about this?
Is there any shuttle/bus service from these resorts to, say, a non-Disney park, such as Sea World?

Any help would be appreciated,

I believe they only offer shuttles to Disney Parks, Downtown Disney, and the waterparks.

We stayed at All Star Movies last year and it was really good (nice foodcourt, rooms were good, big pool, also the decoration of the hotel with the various character models Woody, Buzz, dalmations!). You can book Mears buses to go to parks outside Disney at an extra cost, but with a 2 year old it might be too long a journey, as the bus picks up from various hotels.

We loved All Star Movies. The rooms didn't seem that small to us because after every thing I had read on this issue I was expecting something the size of a broom closet! It was very clean and quiet when we were there in October of 2004. Your daughter will love the big icons, especially if she likes the movies Toy Story and 101 Dalmations.
