Hi guys,
We are coming to WDW for our first trip in nov from Australia. We were initially flying Qantas but now we are going Air United due to a better airfare deal. I am worried whether I have made the right decision to change airlines as I do not know much about air united. Is it a safe airline to fly with? I would appreciate anyone who has flown with them to give me some feedback on what you thought? We are of course flying economy, is the food okay? Do they have air marshals on board? Are the seats comfortable? Hope someone can reassure me that I have made the right decision!!! Thanks :earboy2:

I would ask your question on the Transportation board. Is it Air United or United that you are flying?

Your question will probably be moved to the Transportation board like safetymom said. I have never heard of Air United either, perhaps it is United. Do you have a connecting flight? What city are you flying into? I hope you have a great time! (and a good flight :sunny: )

I believe that you mean United Airlines. United is one of the world's largest carriers. You will be fine. Their economy class is a little tight but fine. (I flew their Economy to Beijing from Chicago and it was fine. I usually upgrade on other int'l flights) Upgrade to Economy Plus if you can. If you are a member of a Star Alliance airline you will have a better chance of being upgraded. It has more room and you will be more comfortable on such a long flight. The food is fine - nothing spectacular but it is not disgusting. Most food on international flights is prepared in the country of departure and many of the airlines use the same food service companies. As for air marshalls, they may have them but if they do you wouldn't know it because they are typically undercover.

I'm sure you will be fine :) Have a great trip :wizard:

Yep. I also encourage upgrading to Economy Plus if they offer that on your flight. The food is the same as any other airline because for the most part they're all from the same company (usually SkyChefs or GateGourmet)
